I personally dont care for tattooes or piercings, I like to see skin...lol


I think it can be tasteful sometimes for ladies to do the small tattoo on the ankle and the guys to do one over their heart or a medium one on the bicep

I think its tasteful to have one whole per ear maximum

beyond that though, it gets creepy to me,,,,

I remember some twenty years ago (at 21), the fellas would seem so shocked to find I had no piercings, tattooes, or kids


Now at 42, I have kids, but I would guess there would be an even higher level of shock that I have no holes or markings on me that God didnt give me,,,lol


in another twenty years, I will probably be considered a 'freak' for actually showing my skin,,,,lol,, but thats ok with me

me i have 3 earrings in my left ear 5 in the right
my tounges pierced

my right upper arm i have a sucubuss, under that japaness kanji "life, death, immortality" with a keltic band

my left my eldest daughters name with roses on the ends, under that my second daughters, name then my sons

my left breast a unicon on top, the side a dragon

my right upper thigh a unicorn

my right ankle another dragon, a bird of pairdice and a chain between them

i plan in getting my kids birth years and months in kanji on my left calf with lotus flowers in the next year or so


my oldest also knows that when she turns 16 and wants a tattoo i ll get her one for her birthday if she can tell me something about the tattoo where she wants it and y she wants it, also something about the tattoo shop she chose and y she chose it.

as far as guys go gages freak me out but there ok

I think its a personal decision. I like tattoos on a guy, never really have any "encounters" with a guy with piercings. I have male friends that have their nipples pierced, ears or tongue pierced and one with his septum pierced. Me, personally I have two tats one on each ankle about 3 inches high on each. And my ears and nipples are pierced. Some people would be surpirsed to know I have those piercings, But I say its none of their business, espeicialy if they have a prob with it.
So I say if you like it Go for it. Tatttoos and piercings are a personal expression and personal decision thing. Just remember that some tats and piercings may effect your ability to be hired for some jobs.

At 16 I got my first tattoo-it was mine and made me different it to this day had a strong emotion meaning- 1988 stationed in West Germany got pierced-several years 5 more tats and a few more "holes" I wasn't born with later at 47 I have 6 tats and 3 surviving pericings- Good bad or indifferent it's me, a recorded part of my journy in this life. Your body your choices, tats are forever they can be changed or covered up but it's still there. Before doing it give it 6 months if you still need to record that part of the journey of life then do it. Art is art it can be found on cave walls, on canvas, carved from stone or on the canvas of flesh not everyone will approve but todays youth does not ask nor care for the approval of socitiy.

I don't care for either on me. I think women do men an injustice when they pierce their navel. Covers up your sexiness imho.
