I'm getting ready to go to work, there is always an opportunity
to do a good deed for someone there.

I decided to set up my own band and give the money we earn to an I.B.S charity. What i'm saying is, i didn't just join a band out of my love for indie music. I want nothing more than to be able to help other I.B.S sufferers get well again. So i came up with the idea that, if my band perform songs live, and people put money into the jar, if they like our songs, then at least in some way, i'm helping I.B.S sufferers, by earning money for them. It's not money to spend on treats for me, or my band. The money goes straight to the I.B.S charity fund. Maybe the pure fact that i know how bad it is to suffer from I.B.S, is the one reason that would prompt me to do such a thing.

Huh?

What does the I.B.S. charity actually do?

Here is my good deed for the gals. Eye candy...

I invited someone to spend the afternoon and kept her in iced tea and nibbles while she poured out her woes to me. Poor gal really has no one else to lend her a sympathetic ear and I loaned her some money to pay a bill (I know she'll pay it back and she needed it right away.)

She was visibly better when she left to go home .. was glad to do it.

I offered to draw up an offer to purchase (commercial) for a close friend.

Didn't have a clue going in as to what it encompassed, but I knew I had Google and the Internet to help me out. Found online forms with *fill-in-the-blanks* and was delighted.

(he thinks I'm thoooo smarterer now ha ha ha)

I did a good deed today. I did NOT flip off the SOB that nearly ran me off the road

Okay, after reading this post a few hours ago, me back from helping a colleague realize that the world is how he perceives it to be. And that he will be happier if he makes his surroundings happy by serving as sunshine to those who need it.
