OK follow me. I moved into an apartment. I have these neighbors. They live directly below me, I live on the second floor. These people have drug dealers waiting in the parking lot for deliveries. I'm not sure what they are peddling. Should I stay and watch what transpires or run for the hills.......smokin

well knowing the state u live in an what ya dealing with if i was you i would try an find a safe place to live cause if the cops come calling there they could think that your part of all of that an if the landlord allows it in the building well then he will be in trouble..

'round these parts folks mind their business. if they are dealing something you are interested in, than by all means play the game. just remember if you get caught up in it, that it's all part of the game

Call the local police dept. Tell them what you know. Don't use 911. Look em up and say "Hey..........."

The more they know...the more they can do.

Well it is kinda hard to mind your own business when it becomes your business. I have had so many cops up in here it is not even funny. In the Ghetto. (Background singers) In the Ghetto.......smokin

Honestly I feel that if people want to do drugs it is their business but.........when they flaunt it and it causes problems then they need to go....

At one time one of the houses across the street from me had so much traffic it was unreal and I live in a very quiet neighborhood. What did I do hell I called in on them for cars would be there less then 5 minutes then gone and always busy.....

Ended up the cops even told me they were already watching the house due to drug trafficking. Needless to say they were not there long.

And I did not call cause I'm totally against those that use drugs only because they had made their business my business...whoa

But then I own my house if I was renting and it was that bad I would be looking for a new place.

You can actually get out of leases due to safety reasons and drug trafficking where the landlord is not doing anything about it..

I would move. It's not like you're in an area where you can chase them out, and they could be gang-related for all you know.

If you want to let the cops know, I wouldn't make that move until after I was already living in a new place. Just in case.

Around here, in the past, we have chased out the bad element. There were a few times when things got nasty, and we had to go out into the street with pick handles, bats, whatever we had... As the years pass, it has become less necessary, but also more dangerous. People aren't as easy to scare, and are more willing to use a knife or a gun. Plus the neighbors change, new people move in, and they aren't as willing to take a stand as those who have lived here long enough to remember what the past has been like. All in all, I doubt the next time something happens anyone will do more than pick up a phone to call the police. By the time they get here, it will probably be too late....like the last time: 5 minute drive in a town with low crime, but a 30 minute response time.

Now why would you say they might think I was part of all that? Did you just call me a trouble maker?.............smokin

I lived in a place just like that. Stayed until the druggies started kicking in doors and actually tried to get into mine one night very late. I lived alone and it was just frightening. If there was meth being made in the building you would know it...the smell is horrific. My place was so scary that I would not leave my apt. after dark. I would say that if you are uncomfortable there, for your own sanity...and safety....go! I even called my land lord...cops were there at least four times a week...loved the apt, but the stress wasn't worth staying. Please be safeflowerforyou

To me don't inform cops because they have ways of getting information and you may be in hell if they get to know you report or attamting to report , just move out because anything can happen.

Move out dude. Drive bys can be a biotch.

And you don't want the cops poking into your biddness while they watching your neighbors.

Either find another place to live, or learn to deal with it, I guess. I'd choose another place to live, though.

I appreciate the opinions. My problem is I like the apartment. Should I let one neighbor run me out of the place? What pizzes me off is they have kids. Crazy world I guess......smokin

So, other than the drug dealing, everything else is great about where you live? Then you have to decide what is more important. Dealing with the drug deals and staying in the apartment, or moving somewhere safer/no drug deals.

I know. It is just one apartment otherwise it isn't that bad. I have had strung out young ladies knocking on my door looking for them. If they were just running a little grass they wouldn't be acting like that. I have seen alot of bad with drugs. The easy thing would be to move. Just talking out loud I guess......smokin
