What is paranormal? Telepathy? Spirit contact? I think there may be an older thread on this, but SurPrise TLW, I'm not digging for it!!!

Seriously, though. Everything I've experienced, except once while camping on "Indian Land" came about very naturally (actually, the way I'm defining naturally, that one came about naturally too) to my mind if it comes about naturally (i.e. not drug or alcohol induced) that is although different from the norm still normal for me.

I've had the telepathic moments with people I'm really close to or concerned about. I've had people I've known that have died return to give me messages they cannot seem to get through to other people. I've had the only thing I can even remotely understand in my mind as someone having an out of body experience and me noticing (that was the scariest for me because I had NO CLUE what I was seeing or hearing that time), I've seen spirit villages of Indians/Native Americans while attending a ceremony, and I've had certain people I could ESP what they were thinking or going to say next. Nope, I don't consider myself psychic per se, but I do think everybody has the natural ability to experience this type of thing.

So beyond presenting myself as possibly weird as well as different, any comments?

I feel that every person has the ability to connect on a spiritual (paranormal?) level, though those who are not open or responsive to it weaken their ability.

I like to compare it to a child that "sees ghosts" and is told repeatedly that it is just their imagination. After awhile they ignore or dismiss the sighting as an overactive imagination.

Out of sight out of mind, and the ability diminishes.

Everyone is gited..they are just taught that they are insane or making it up or have an over active imagination..but I believe that children who say they have "imaginary friends" are really just in contact with a spirit so parents shouldnt be so quick to dismiss that..sit the child down and talk to them..I know several gifted people including myself that have seen and done thing for YEARS..all starting out as small children.

It can disappear..but it doesnt go away forever..mine didnt..it went away for 4yrs then came back full blast

Wench, guess what? You are Psychic. I have had my abikities at an early age, 8 or 9 years old,but didnt know what it was till I was 58. The first time it hapened , after finding out, It scared the heck out of me, when I was contacted by a soirit, I just had to get used to it, as I had no control over when they would come through to me. Now I seem to have better control.I derived my abilities through my Mother,who also has it.I do have a resident spirit in my house, but she is harmless. Ocaisionaly I see her, other times I just hear her or she bumps into my bed. She is French and looking for her husband that was killed in the coal mines here.

Okay, Wolf, I'll take your word for it. I guess because I don't try to control it is why I just consider whatever comes through a need to know type thing.

I had what i would call a vision while chatting on the comuter in a reliigious chat room back in Jan/feb. I told the people i was seeing fire and pain. they told me to keep talking and type what I was seeing. I did and I saw women running on fire. i also saw mortars being fired at people in a crowded gathering. I saw planes shooting rockets. I saw so much misery and pain. I started writing they are lying. We are doing this. I had them not the time it was 9:32am ct. At 9:45 cnn had a special report from bagdad. The Reporter seemed scared. He said thier was a media blackout and that he was hearing gunships. That was the end of the report. I kept track about what was going on. The news said almost nothing. Finally they acted like it was no big deal that 2 suicide bombers had entered a Hilla Iraq market. The reporter that day said it happened right down thier about 2 miles away. That was all the closer the press coulld get. They finally reported 175 dead and 180+ wounded. I found it awfullty strange that the media hardly reported on it at all. Then they had to stay 2 miles away from the site. Thier are people who can back me up that i did this on a chat room. Take Care .. Miles

Don't need anybody to back ya up, Miles. Just like everybody else with experiences such as these, we've lived it and been ridiculed by others who for some reason or other just can't seem to fathom the occurrence. I'm grateful people can finally feel comfortable enough with each other to talk about them.
