Hmmm a thought here...a gift yes..from God...it is my thinking that everyone has them..just not everyone is open minded enough to use them, that the unknown is too scary to delve into.

I don't see it as paranormal really, we see, hear, feel, taste what we do because we are meant to at that time, ones with open minds who have embraced said gifts can understand the meaning behind the event. Those who are closed off from it, well it just scares the beejeebers out of them or they laugh it off as a figment of one imagination. These events, for lack of a better word, are messages, signs what have you that we are meant to get to shed light upon something we are going or to go through.

Certain experiences bring out the gifts in some, such as a Near Death Experience, an Out Of Body Experience, and some are simply born knowing what their specific gift is.

it's the other way around.

we have been diluted, polluted, layered , insideously bombarded with noise or sounds , however you want to hear it. we have desensitized , anesthetized, hypnotized ourselves with so much "other stuff ".....

we have lost touch with our own senses.

it's all there , and more...but it has been undone...and that's a shame....a bit like the wildlife we are losing to extinction. Some cultures still cultivate these relationships, but as the world changes it's very nature around us, all physics/metaphysics are in flux.

it is the best of times and it is the worst of times. for those of us that still have clear sight and clear hearing, sometimes it is gallingly loud and present...almost like an outcry, to come home and remember the sublime purpose of what we are here for.
to reassure us ......as in the words of Bob Marley " everything's gonna be allright......."

King, I don't know if you felt anybody answered your question. Me personally, I'd say yes, paranormal. bl8nt has stated this very well. I was amazed when I started typing general medical transcription how many doctors automatically call in the Psychiatrist the moment their patients experience a form walking by them or have a telepathic conversation with a spirit form. I wasn't raised with any of this being talked about. When I started getting visions around 26, I thought, "Okay borderline lunatic, you're definitely crossing the border here." Something deep down in me though had the sense not to go running off to the regular medical community. I happened to be not too far from a Psychic community, Casadaga, Florida, so I made a "skeptical game" out of it and arranged for a bunch of friends to all go get readings. The woman I ended up getting told me everything I was seeing, how I was seeing, good Lord, she even tapped into what I was feeling when I was seeing this stuff. I don't know which upset me more, the fact that all of a sudden I was seeing scenes being played out behind my eyelids when I shut my eyes or the fact that this woman was "crawlin" around in my head and knew what I saw and how it felt. She did help me to stop freaking out about it though. Eventually, I did ask for these visions to stop too like Lady did. It was very frustrating to lie down to sleep and have a bunch of scenes be dumped out to watch and have no clue what you were supposed to do with them. Also like Lady, this seeing of scenes did come back but in a different manner of seeing. Now instead of behind my eyelids, I'll see vivid pictures on walls with my eyes wide open. This isn't as overwhelming for me and I get a more direct feeling of why I'm seeing them and who needs to know about it. Now its just another part of this earth walk gig I'm on.
