I've never heard of this guy before, but this is some of the most incredible stuff I've seen in a long time. Any guesses as to how any of this works?

No, no idea. I do have trouble putting any real validity into experiments done outside of a controlled environment, though. If these experiments are genuine, they're pretty impressive.

looked really neat... i wonder why nothing ever came of it? seems like scientists would be wanting to take that a few steps further...

No kidding. ZPMs? Now we can start building stargates!

I could explain the water falling out of the cup and other objects accelerating up.

This is how you work it:

You feeze the water inside the cup. You glue the cup to the top of the room or to to the top of the inside of a box. Set a moving picture recorder, and turn it upside down. Aim it at the glass. When the ice that touches the cup wall starts to melt, the tension releases, the water falls down, and if you play the recording, right side up, it shows as if a cup of water is falling up with the cup remaining on the bottom.

I don't know how he did some of the stuff.

The things breaking and parts of them falling over while the other part stays the same, is simple to explain: you put an object down, film it, stop the film, break it, without moving the parts away too much, film it again, stop the filming, turn over one part, and film again.

Ball rolling up on the wall: the room is tilted slightly, and placing the camera so that it gives the visual effect of a ball rolling up.

The police that photographed everything: I believe they came out, but not because the neighbours complained of things moving and levitating in their homes. I mean, put yourself in the shoes of the cop on the beat. There is a radio call: "Car 2387, are you in the vicinity of 27 Wimpole Drive?" "Yes, affirmative." "Go check out apartment 5676, they say there are things levitating in their house." "You are new here, dispatcher, eh? That's the druggie building in town. Last week they called us to get the fire-breathing dragon of a little old lady off the tree in her yard, and the week before, to shoot the pesky pegasusses that kept crapping manure balls on the passing motorcars' windshields."

But the cops actually DID go out and photographed the guy's equipment. I beleive that much. The police checked them for serial numbers, because there have been a series of reports of robberies at electronics surplus stores in the area.

The guy is a welfare zombie, and old Nam vet druggie who has caught on to fame by realizing people believe anything they are told if it is wrapped tastefully in a speech of "big business conspiracy".

His zero point energy source does not work. It is possible to tap into that energy, yes, but it is not easy to control that energy. If he uses infinity amount of energy to power a penlight (the size of half a baseball bat) then he is both very good, and not very good. He can take half a volt of potential, out of infinity energy? WTF is that? And .564 volts is not half an electron volt. They don't even measure the same physical quality.

I give it to the guy, though, for false creativity. The chicks in the 'hood are all over him, I am sure, and look at me, there are seven-foot letters on the front of my house on the lawn, "WORLD'S SECOND GREATEST LOVER, OLDER PRETTY WOMAN, 55 TO 88 YEARS OF AGE, PLEASE DO COME IN!! LAY LADY, LAY, LAY ACROSS MY BIG BRASS BED. BIG LADY. BIG LAYS. GET ME WHILE I LAST. PLEASE!!!" and still nothing.

The guy on the video sure can turn a mean knob. Did you notice his technique? From left to right, clockwise, and then from right to left, counter-clockwise. You can't imitate that sort of thing, you know.

"As long as the metal lasts, the battery will last." Well, the metal lasts forever, if it is not radioactive.

"The Japanese funded him." He gave a speech at the local community centre to an interested group of high-functioning Down-syndrome sufferers, and he called them Japanese. The Down group bought him a decorative candle stick holder, and that was the whole extent of the Japanese interest and support.

lol as an electrical engineer i def have to agree he has duped alot of people.

If you go ad crush some rocks up and put them in an aluminum cup and insert a copper wire all you need is a little tap water and that's a battery electric cell. (Its not the rocks though its the impurities that dissolve off of the surface and the salts added to tap water like NaF, they form an electrolytic cell) 0.4 volts is useless to power anything other than small lcd clock. And you dneed 3 of those cells in series... The current will be on the order of micro amps...

Electron Volt (eV) is energy and A volt is a unit of potential difference. You can not directly measure eV on any DMM.

His dumbbell sized unit that lights a single LED.... Some sand mixed with any salt or a weak crystallized acid like vitamin c.
Put that in a pipe with some copper and aluminum plates... will produce a voltage when moisture from the air gets into the sand/acid mix.

Non engineers are easily fooled by this kind of thing. All EEs know this is garbage and its a hoax.

Oh did anyone else notice that stage light spray painted gray on his balcony. Really people dont believe it just B/C its on TV

Wow, 40 years of work down the drain, and all based on your word.

What a shame for John Hutchison.

Pretty ballsy of that woman to take this guy's findings as evidence in a case with the US Court of Appeals against NIST since its a hoax.

You've talked about all YOU "could do" to fool people, create illusion etc. but do you have any proof this man has committed fraud or hoax or do you just like setting yourself up for libel charges?

First you chastise people for believing what they see on TV then expect them to believe you because....Its in writing?? Following your own logic we should discount everything you've said.

Pretty interesting. Reminds me of Edward Leedskalnin of Coral Castle, the one place in the world I would love to see more than any other.

I'm sure most every electrician would knock him though, and he would quickly become an outcast like Tesla.

It will not be libel becuase everything stated here is opinion. Good attempt at trolling however.
