I have had foreign friends who were proper gentlemen of the highest degree and they were not ready for American women. Attitude is no example of independence no matter who anyone defies it. I doubt most American women would last long among your society. Women may be considered socially as inferior but not as property like in Islamic nations.

Besides, the grass tends to be greener on the other side. I personally Japanese women. I like how subtle they can be. The down side is a lot of them are shy. I can cope with that. But even that garden harbors snakes!

IO just got back from office Depot recently and I swear the woman (???) had a goatee! I mean a serious amount of hair on her face and chin. I got a goatee. I know what one looks like. I so wanted to tell her she needed to shave or wax her face or something. We are talking aesthetically challenged!

Just for the record I was born into a family that concidered females inferior...And since (in my family's eyes anyway) I had the bad taste to be born a girl..well lets say my upbringing was far less than pleasant..

Anyway..to to orignal postor I say Welcome to mingle.. and for you to remeber we americans are a very diverce people... if you look long enough you will find some of us more tolerant than others.. but we tend to forget that people from other cultures have differnt thoughts and ways.. But you are on the right track in trying to learn what the people around you are like.

You ask if they accept Asian culture. Not all Asian cultures are the same. You will have to be more specific. India/Japan/Korea?china etc etc all have very different cultures. BTW I think all of those foods are delicious.

In some cases that may be true but for others it means that he needs to have a job and his own place because they have ran into to many flakes living off everyone else and trying to live off her too.
