No he did not. He created the possibility of sin.

Cowboy...it's "impossible" for God to create the possiblity of sin without first creating the sin ...

the only way you have a chance to be right is to first admit that God is not the creator of everything

so I guess the most logical question to ask you is

do you believe that God is the creator of everything ....

1...yes?
2...no?
3....whatever?

Sin is an action one takes or doesn't take. It's not a created object. Again, if something is sinful, it is being disobedient to God. If one is being disobedient to God, he is being sinful, ect.

Cowboy...you either believe that God is the creator of everything which would include sin or you don't believe God is the creator of everything

so can you please answer the question

THE QUESTION:
Is God the creator or everything?

1..yes
2..no
3...maybe

You are not listening Funches. Sin is not a something, it is not an object, it not something tangible, it is not specifically a though. It is a DESCRIPTIVE word. If something is sinful, it is therefore something disobedient to God.

God did not "create" sin.

POSTE BY COWBOY
Again, yes he created sin in the long run

Cowboy...you have more contradictions in your post than there is in the bible

No, you just like to take things out of context, especially things from the bible. But for in this example, you're taking my words out of context and not including the surrounding words.

If you make up, you have to make down. Where there is one way, there's another. So with God having a will and having given us free will, that causes the possibility of going against God's will and that is sin. Sin in itself is not something created. Sin is disobedience.
But how can something created perfect commit sin,even with Free will?

This is one of the many flaws in religion. For it to be true, it would mean a perfect God would have to have created imperfect people since a perfect being would not create people that wouldn't do what it wanted. That would fly in the face of it being perfect.

So either God is not perfect, or God made us exactly as it intended us to be "sins" and all. It cannot be both.

I lean toward the latter.

Incorrect, sin is an action. God created us, he does not create our actions.

But if he created us with a capacity to do things a certain way, how is it our fault if we only act as we were made? Such a flaw would be on the shoulders of the creator, not the created. If God wanted us a certain way, surely it would create as such but it did not.

You're basically saying a perfect God is somehow incapable of creating a creation that will do what it wants it to do. If it can't do that, that God has failed and is nowhere near perfect.

It's the only logical explanation from a biblical standpoint.God cannot be perfect and yet create imperfectly. No matter how you wanna twist it, it does not work.

He created us with the capacity to make a choice. We are accountable for the choices we make. Weather that choice is eating to spicy of food one night or killing someone. It is our choice, we are responsible for our own actions. God can NOT be held accountable for something someone did when that person is the one whom did that action.

But is it fair for God to expect things it KNOWS we cannot actually do because of how we were made? I say no. Why would God make us a certain way and yet expect things of us that go against our own nature as humans. It makes no sense at all.

He didn't create us a way that goes against our own nature as humans. There is not really any "natural way" of humans. Who you are and what you like is created by you. And of course what you do is created by you.

Cowboy..some have the belief that sin is an object or that Satan is sin, also the argument is not about what sin is, the argument is about who created sin which you already admitted that God was the one that created sin as indicated in your post taken from "page 25- post 19" in this thread

this is why you refuse to answer the question "is God the creator of everything" because to answer yes, you would also have to acknowledge that God is the creator of sin and that God is also the creator of evil, the creator or homosexuality, the creator of abortion etc. etc. etc.

so I will once again attempt to ask you the most basic question of Christian belief

THE QUESTION:
Is God the creator or everything

1: yes
2: No
3: perhaps

my aim is to place you into a position that makes it taboo to answer yes to a question that you are commanded by God to answer "yes" to....

I have answered your question many many many times in this thread, you just refuse to listen and keep egging me on.

Sin is not an object, it is not an entity, it is not a person, it is not something physical, it's not a general creation. It is a DESCRIPTIVE word.

IF SOMETHING IS SINFUL, IT IS BEING DESCRIBED AS AGAINST GOD'S WILL, IT IS DESCRIBING AN ACTION AS BEING DISOBEDIENT TO WHAT GOD WANTS.

sorry for all caps, just hoping it will help you understand.

Cowboy ...I've already got you to admit that God is the guilty party that created sin...so it's time to move beyond that

now my aim is to get you to admit that God is the creator of everything ..which you refuse to do ...because it would mean that God created evil and a host of other heathenous things

see how I used your religion to take away your delusion of "Free Will" and silence you from spreading the power of your God

so come on.....say it.....say that God is the creator of everything ......

why is it so hard to get a confessed Christian such as yourself to admit to basic Christian beliefs

One last response on this subject, less it goes in another direction instead of repeating time after time after time after time. God is the creator of everything. "Evil" is not an object, it is not an "emotion", it is not a person. It is a state of mind a person allows them self to get into.

jeez Cowboy...why are you still taking about what sin or evil is....the debate is not about what sin or evil is, it's about "who" created sin and evil ...

how many times do I have to tell you this?...it's going to take me an eternity for us to get through Genesis if you are unable to grasp basic concepts...perhaps it would be best if you just hide behind blind faith

but anyway...nothing...and I mean nothing in existence whether it's an object or a concept or an emotion or lucan the wolf boy can come into existence without first being created ...

and now with your admission that "God is The Creator of Everything"... means that God was the first to create sin, evil, homosexuality, abortion etc. etc. ...

jeez funches... I've answered your question many times over. Sin is disobedience, so when someone is disobedient to the father, they have then created a sin. Sin and disobedience is more or less a synonym, they mean the same thing. Only difference is Sin is disobedience to the father. Again, when one is disobedient to the father, they have then created sin.

God didn't create sin in that exact essence. God created the possibility of sin with having a will of his own for sin again is going against God's will and or doing something disobedient to God.

and now with your admission that "God is The Creator of Everything"... means that God was the first to create sin, evil, homosexuality, abortion etc. etc

No. Homosexuality was made by mankind. Homosexuality is an action one takes, it is a preference of that person. It's not a prefabricated object.

Evil is going against God's will, going against the laws God has given us. So again, yes with having a will of his own he therefore created evil, for evil is going against his will.

Abortion is man made. Don't know where you came off with this one. "Abortion" is an action one takes. It's not a physical object.

What you have just stated here is absolutely false Cowboy. If you believe what you wrote here then you are just in denial, plain and simple.

The very strong male desire to become sexually intimate with a female is absolutely the "natural way" of humans. In fact, it's also a quite "natural drive" for all animals that procreate via sexual intercourse.

For you to be in denial of this blatant fact of life either suggests that you yourself have no clue, (which suggest that you are not a normal healthy average male), or you're just in total denial of this truth in an effort to obsessively support an archaic religion.

Personally, I'm inclined to believe the latter. Although, if you truly believe what you write, I can't help but suspect the former as well.

I'm in total agreement with Kleisto. It makes absolutely no sense for a creator to create creatures with such a naturally strong sexual desire, and then to make it a "sin" for them to even THINK about it!

That, IMHO, is so utterly absurd that it blows the whole mythology clean out of the water right there without a prayer of salvation.

Such a mythology cannot be salvaged, IMHO.

As far as I can see, you are just in blatant denial of the primal FACTS OF LIFE.

I truly don't care what you thought things inferred Cowboy. That doesn't change the validity of the point I made.

A God who creates male and female species that are highly driven by a sexual to mate, has absolutely no business making it as sin to even think about this extremely strong natural desire.

That would be downright cruel.

~~~~
Besides, forget about the specifics. The religion holds that no man can resist 'sin' without God's help. The claim is that it's basically impossible for any mortal man to be sin free on his own.
Therefore, this God would have made it virtually impossible for mortal men to be sin free, yet he's going to blame them for being 'sinners'.
This is why we can know beyond any shadow of a doubt that this religion is a man-made brainwashing scheme to instill people with feelings of guilt and spiritual failure no matter who they are or what they are like.
It's impossible to be a sin-free human being according to this religion.
Sure he does, why doesn't he? Thinking about the action in itself is not a sin. Thinking of that action with a specific person then becomes sinful.
