but when they're real dumb, don't you have WAY MORE fun at their expense without them really knowing it, because it's more fulfilling than a confrontration with an idiot that will never change his mind?

again if they're not (obviously gross)? I do.

I have had on here...I have played some serious hardball on here...tongue in cheek nimble wordsmithing..as you well know.

In face to face?...
Confrontation?...is that what it is called?...

telling some dipsh * te he or she is being a dipsh * te is easy...they may find that confronting...but I don't...and really we aussies don't take too kindly to stuck up arseholes, arrogance or victimhood ridiculousness...we tell it how it is...it's a mark of respect over here...unlike the US where everyone is so PC.

I remember when PC only implied that people ignored that there was a problem at all

seems to imply now anything that involves people attempting to pick battles sensibly and treat others with the respect they wish to be treated with

,,but then some people would prefer to be told themself that they suck or that they are a butt(although these are always just opinions and not facts),,,which is why simon cowell is so popular with so many people, and paula is popular with others

,,,different strokes

I truly am one who prefers constructive words, something that is said that will actually serve to advise or help or point out the actual issue, beyond just namecalling,,,

But you said "sensibly"... which implies a certain name-calling, in itself, does it not?
As if their point of view isn't sensible... but to them it is, no?
Some people hate... it's their make-up, their psychopathy if you will. Always has been, always will be... imho, as history seems to show.
So if we're going to be tolerant of others' opinions... haters have to be included.
Constuctive ideals are then left to whatever peeps are trying to construct. And there's a blue-million of those...

Strive for personal peace. Don't invision whirled peas... envision a world where peeps are at peace with themselves. The rest will fall into place... jmho.

Saying someone is not being sensible isn't quite the same as calling them names. It is an opinion and it does describe their actions, however it's not stooping low enough to get into name calling.

But hey, if it makes someone happy or feel good to call others names, they make that decision knowing that it's going to affect other peoples' opinions of them. So, I say go for it, but don't get upset at the reactions that may come from it.

Well, ok. laugh

I'm curious as to what was said, though. We don't know each other at all, except for interacting a few times in the forums. I see no reason why we wouldn't get along.
