I havent been addicted to meth now, for 4 years...

That was one of my first posts here,"NO More Meth Mouth"(I smoked it), and of course, I had no program, or family to help me quit, but I did have the Minglers, cheering me on, and God, and I did it cold turkey, after many years.(I like to tell people this, because maybe it will strike a nerve, and they might say, "if she did it, I can do it",and quit.

But now I cant stop eating big marshmallows, and corn flakes and peaches, and its starting to show!

What are you addicted to?

I'm proud of you for overcoming that addiction. I've done pretty much everything, meth included. I went to drug and alcohol counseling for a year in 08/09. I don't like AA, but was court ordered to go, since they never checked my sheet, I got away with just telling them I was going even though I only attended maybe two meetings. Next time, I may have to actually attend AA meetings or worse, that and more importantly my nephew were what stopped all that for me.

I had been trying to give up smoking prior to ten years ago when I finally succeeded. I tried all kinds of methods, and told my brother that I wanted to try the therapy in which they infuse you with a near-fatal amount of pure nicotine, you go into convulsions, pass out, and wake up with a morning-after like you wouldn't believe. You'd puke for a week, and never be able to go near cigarettes again.

My brother told me in reply, "Andrew... you'll get addicted to that procedure."

You have to be careful with what you ask for, coz sometimes you just might get it.

i used to drink about seven liters per day of pepsi. i switched to diet, and i've cut back to about three liters, lol...

My current addiction is, watching too much youtube. I will break the habit. I need children, to do the childs work, for me. Then I will sleep, in my rocking chair, like a good old biscuit, should

my only true addiction is reading...

pretty much anything else i can live without. if i go a day or two without a book, i find myself consuming shampoo bottles with great interest.
