What kind of messages do you send when you initiate contact with someone on a dating website?

Nothing complicated, just a hello I noticed you kinda thing.

I usually ask them their cup size.

Strangely I don't get many answers.

Followed by "Would you like fries with that"?

Usually they contact me. Seriously.

Throw yourself onto the forums and just be you.

Once you have yapped enough...the people who relate to you will contact you. If you got nothing to say ....the people who got nothing to say will be the first ones who won't write you.

I dont know,, IM mostly contacted by

1. immigrants seeking a quick wife
2. young men seeking a quick time
3. minglers seeking further discussion of something on the board....


I prefer number three, it just sets a tone of an interest in conversation as opposed to winning/losing an 'argument'

I read their profile. If there's something that catches my interest, I send them an email about it.

Same here, #1. I disallowed anyone under 40 to contact me, so #2 stopped happening. #3 is happening more often.

I really do read the profiles. If they have an interest or two in common, I write about that. Or if they have a similar point of view on the forums, I mention it.

I'd answer you ..16 oz for the most part but if I'm feeling thirsty I go for 20 oz

Could you clean your windows, it's hard to see in your house.

I only send initial messages to those people I find interesting in the the forums. I usually tell them what took my interest to take a look at their profile and that they could ignore my mail if they don't feel like sending me a reply. That there'll be no hurt feelings if they won't reply.
