I went to one near where I live, one time with some friends. It was pretty decent, the girls were nice and the food was good. But it's not really my thing either.
I used to frequent the local American Legion .. it was a small hole in the wall where I could stop off after work, have a few beers and relax shooting pool with people I knew. There was Friday karaoke, Saturday night dances and the local MC had their monthly meetings there. Afterwards, a bunch of us would go midnight bowling or stop off at Waffle house to eat. Yeah, I'm a small town gal. |
