Honestly, to many white South Africans, English is a second language. For the most part, they speak Afrikaans instead. Some may speak English fluently, but their writing suffers due to spelling an grammar.

Based on her text, she is typing this out rather than using a translator program. The grammar isn't too bad, and the misspellings seem like honest mistakes. The syntax alone demonstrates that no translator program was involved since the proper words are used, just the spelling is off.

Not really picking on Ron here. Just thought I should point this out for those who haven't dealt with such as much as I have. If she's true, she probably knows what pitfalls to avoid. Still, it's best to be wary.
