If you are a believer and not a follower of christ does that stll mean you are a christian? If you believe in all of his concepts save one, are you still one of his flock? Just some questions I ponder!

To follow up on what TLW said...

Revelations 3:15-16
==============================================================
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

what the Lord understands our nature
what He measures is our will to fight restless for heaven

sorrowedheart,

"Ahhhhhh but if to human is to err then no one is perfect and if the lord doesnt accept anyone whos human then who all goes to heaven. "

That's true, none of us are good or righteous. But by truely accepting Jesus as your savior, you are washed clean of your sins. Only the (washed, saints, believers, Christians) will enter Heaven. What you call yourself doesn't matter, what matters is if you are part of the spiritual body of Christ.

***** If you are not a follower of Christ - you are not a believer. It is belief in the finished work of Christ on the cross that determines if you are a "Believer" (and I assume by your reference to believer you are refering to the biblical connotation)

If you believe in all of his concepts save one, are you still one of his flock?
***** But why believe in all of them except one? Either he's right on all of his concepts - or not worthy of considering on any of them. It's all or nothing. There's no "grey area's" with God - or even the remotest chance that he is wrong, while one of his creation that opposes him is right.

I believe in the existence of Jesus and that he definitely had purpose. I can wholeheartedly try to emulate what he taught, as long as I truly feel it and believe in it. Meaning if I don't, truly believe in what I'm doing, I'm gonna be found out by God anyway, so trying to BS God is a waste of time. My faith though belongs with God. God is the one I'll pray to. God is also the one that'll judge what happens to this soul entity known as me when my time's up in this body. This judgement by God in my mind is basically figuring out what's next for me to do/where to go/or how long to chill out before the next gig and where if that's the final assessment after this lifetime. I believe in life after death via soul/spirit as part of the growth process. My opinion nutshelled: God gets the final say as to who is part of what. After all, it is his house.
