Well however you wanna put it they refused to let it air, and worse than that wanted all copies destroyed. Now why do you think they'd get their panties in such a bunch about it if it was so innocent? Call it censorship, or any other word you like it doesn't matter, the idea behind it was the same here.

I don't think you get the severity of this. It's not cut and dry here, if you think it is you are being naive. The reason they pulled it was simple, IT WAS THE TRUTH. Don't believe me? Watch the thing yourself and then see what you think after.

VHS? Thats been years ago. Who was it that ordered the destruction of private property being that the piece mentioned that DISCOVERY gave back the money paid for the spot(and would therefore have no right to the physical film)?

I think the better question to ask is WHY? What would be the motive behind such an attempt? It would indicate to me that something was on this tape that they did not want seen. Otherwise, why would they go through the trouble or attempt to?

thats true, if EVERY copy was destroyed (which obviously they werent)

or if every copy but ONE was destroyed, they could have just been wanting to save their investment from becoming someone elses profit,,,
