Actually, I've noticed it even among day to day stuff. Job-hunting just plain sucks because you basically have to bullchit yourself to others and lie in a positive way. A simple "I know how to answer phones" has to be "I know how to answer multi-line Cisco type phone" One is still answering the @#$% phone!!!
Can we really expect someone online to be taken at face-value, when society as a whole doesn't? Even for the mundane things? |

Actually if you want the person to be honest and real to you, you need to be THE SAME as you wanted them to be to you. Be real to them! But we therefore need to understand that there's every reason "WHY" behind those actions they made. Maybe they are not comfy with you that's why they lie or even maybe scared because what happen to their past, who knows right???

Y is it so hard 2 find a good and honest person these days? Seems like anytime u start 2 get attached 2 someone these days they end up hurting u.... just sayin, seems easier just 2 stay single Haha, as you can see by certain posts... being fake is the new real. ... and you're left to adapt. They win, we lose...  ...unless. Stay true to yourself... you've nothing to be ashamed of. Bottom-feeders, such as catfish, will always leave the taste of dirt in your mouth. |

(Imagine and illude that there are things, for instance, there, where there isn't that thing which I think is.) So I can't help you to determine if there are any real people out there still, as i have never been aware of them at the best of times. I just curious, what you compare the present day situation to? What was it in your experience a period of time or era, in which there were real people? I am curious. In Ancient Greece? In the Court of the Krimson King? In the Golden Age of barbershop quartets and $5 bj-s? When? Anywhoo, welcome to the forums and such!! |

being fake is the new real. I love this!!! Finally there is a person on the site who speaks my language. I used to say for years that sixty is the new twenty, but since my girlfriend turned eighty, this March 15, and that even my own brother admitted she's sexy, and so do all the men in her old folks' home, I have started to say that 80 is the new 20, and I live by it. I put my money where my mouth is. ------- That reminds me, did you know that Egratando Bertolucci Jr. coupled up with Catherine Denevue, the granddaughter of the famous movie star by the same name, and they are coming out with a new line of make-up for the... erm, nether-regions? It's all the rage in Europe in the Haute Vogue fashion circles now. Walmart is eyeing to look into breaking ground with a poor-woman's line of this make-up paradiso extravaganza. They so far experimented with foul-smelling smears in the colour brown. It's not going over very well. The designer hired to create this for Walmart was confounded by his findings during his research, which pointed at the original popularity of this design, in the massive portion of the attending patrons and shoppers. |
