Ever notice that on every corner in any inner city there is a liquor store? Do you think that is by accident? Notice how crack and tar heroin seems to miraculously appear in the ghetto's first. This is no accident either.......

are you saying that drugs arrive in ghettos of america by a planned conspiracy group? like a cocaine import agency? well just call them the (cia) to keep the name short.tons of drugs come in the country everyday to keep the flow going.obviously the homeland security plan isnt working.how can we keep terrorists out of the country if we let tons of drugs come in on a daily basis for 40+years.this group the cia seems to have job security. they bring in drugs under our nose and sell them to gangs who then sell them to samaller people who get caught and generate money through fines and generate more money through working in the prisons.maybe we should have them run our country?

law requiring welfare recipients to take drug test.

im glad if this passes i tired of seeing (welfare recipients)bush, clinton, mayors ,judges and cops on drugs
while collecting our hard earned money.if you work for the government you should be tested for drugs.

oh and by the way why are so many people on welfare anyway? with all the jobs created from the bank bailout money.

are you implying that people living in the inner city are forced to buy drugs and alcohol against their free will?

I can find someone selling drugs or stop by the any of the liquor stores in the area in which I live..

Should I believe its a commie plot to steal my essence?

no im saying its worldwide market run by the government.just like cigarettes drugs arent(they say)addictive.your tax dollars are paying to bring drugs in the country(cia).much like a pharmacy non stop supply. regular people go to the ghettos to buy drugs not the super rich areas.when is the last time you heard about satanism on the news.when is the last time you heard about terrorism.whens the last time you saw a pagan. whens he last time you saw a terrorist.
i think the satanists are smarter than the terrorists because who are you looking for?

Whoah, don't get carried away, were you talking about drugs in inner cities, because just now, it started to sound like NEW WORLD ORDER..

The last time I hear about satanism....hmmmmm NEVER ON TV...Unlike Christianity, unclear on its relevance to this thread....

Terrorism???? When Dont we hear about this--and this is relevant to over crowded prisons because????

My feelings are the same as my feelings on the death penalty.

I think that these decisions are too important and too irrevocable to be left to anybody to me. Since I can't be on every jury, I would prefer to leave a prisoner's fate to the most humane option. I am not a big revenge guy. Even if revenge is appropriate. There really is no difference between revenge and justice.

when i was younger, i was placed in time out and received spankings, that was part of my shame and I am okay.

Most of these men in prison are there cuz three strike law or heinous crime. The fact that they are mostly adults give me little room to believe that they can be reformed...
Spankings!

I think NOT. Who gives a crap if they are uncomfortable or at risk of violence...

That's their problem, and Im sure when they stole our cars or raped us, or murdered us, they were being extra considerate....(us-being the general law abiding person)

Who cares if they run out of beds and sleep in open spaces and under each others beds...

Legalize all drugs and release everyone imprisoned for drug possession. Then we'll have empty prisons and more tax payers.

uh huh... so the government is the one behind all the dudes that grow weed out in the woods and make up the vast majority of the supply in the rural areas in this country.

I don't think so.

And I certainly don't think they were running all those meth labs in the trailer parks of the midwest.

how is people growing weed in the woods really hurting our county and those are the people that the government seems to go after the most.that is why we have local police to go after those people and cut out the competitors.im talking about the tons of crack ,cocaine ,and heroin that seem to get past the borders everyday on a daily basis.you would think once in 40 years of the war on drugs once that they would make a major bust and take out the kingpins but they dont.they focus on street level dealers.i dont think that tons of crack ,cocaine ,and heroin are being smuggled in the county by people swallowing it everyday.and when they do make busts its much like the weapons race where that both sides destroy their old stockpiled weapons that are outdated long after they are replaced.
they monitor everyones electric bill and have secret detection devices in sewer lines.but cant stops tons of drugs entering on a daily basis.it seems kids can get drugs easier than alcohol.how can this be? why do they drug test people working at home depot but not cops or government workers.im not saying cops are bad and all use drugs.it just seems if you think about it doesnt make much sense.

Anyway, this is the most inhumane thing I have heard in a while.

Alot of those in general population are those who got popped for drugs, drinking in public, peeing behind the store, etc.... And they will be out on the streets soon.

Do we want them to catch the diseases that love those crowded situations and then come out to us (law abiding citizens)?

Do we want them to get used to living as an animal and then come out to us (law abiding citizens)?

Jails are a stupid form of rehabilitation anyway as they do not do what they are thought to do.

I don't commit crimes not because I am afraid of jail, I do the right thing because I want to. Which is the same for most people who follow the laws.

Overcrowding is a health issue and a humane issue.

We should never even consider doing awful things to other humans, it makes us or those around us who learn from us more likely to think it is right to treat others badly.

there are still people in prison that got busted with a joint 10 years ago...

their still human and their well-being affects us all

hard pill for most to swallow...were all one

I am aware of that, but I doubt it was JUST A JOINT, it has to be over an ounce to even qualify as an offense. At least in my state.

The laws were much different back in the 70's....

The 70's was the the middle of a drug explosion era, that is why, many people were dipping joints in hallucinates as well. There was also a huge freedom movement that unfortunately led to more violence. I am talking about prisoners here, like LONG TERM, have gone through jury selection, have been sentenced through court procedures, as i mention I am not talking about the exception to the rule, I am talking about the majority of prisoners, I did not say they were all gang members, but then again I am closer to LA.

I went to jail for J-walking, as in crossing the street, I stayed overnight, I posted bail, I sued I won. ONE NIGHT! These PRISONS are long term....convicted people. I am talking about the hardcore criminals....

"Hey Tom!"
"What's up, Bill?"
"I got an idea!"
"What's that?"
"We should take this pot and dip it in a far more expensive drug!"
"Brilliant, Bill!"

Yeah, makes about as much sense as marijuana causing brain damage. You know what? Why don't we just flood your entire state's prison system with all of the inmates and in about 10 years you can tell us how this idea worked out...

i care. treating humans as animals is beneath us.

also, my father spent four years in prison, wrongly convicted...it was completely overturned, and all his rights restored...but he couldn't get those years back.

definite mess, for sure...my father was severely depressed after he suffered a stroke, and this was the outcome.

good people can do bad things...and they end up in jail. bad people can also do good things...

regardless of the situation, WE are not the bad ones, and should hold ourselves above treating others in an inhumane way.

Actually, a lot of people dip their joints in pcp and acid... maybe not you, but this thread is not about the one or two people, who as mentioned before, I was not referring to the exception to the rule, because we know every rule has an exception, meanwhile, a lot of people who are in jail stem from out of control behavior as a result of drug and alcohol problems, which lead to no money which leads to crime, People on pcp who run naked and climb palm trees tearing palms off the trunks, bleeding all over the place, or jump through glass doors beat the chit out of women and rape them, then wake up in jail and have no recollection of what the hell just happened......YEAH!
