I've seen too many cases where people never got what they deserved -- good AND bad -- I don't think there's any sort of Celestial Scorekeeper out there. It's just a bunch of stuff that happens.

I've seen too many cases where people never got what they deserved -- good AND bad -- I don't think there's any sort of Celestial Scorekeeper out there. It's just a bunch of stuff that happens. total randomness is a disorganised universe - no collective karmic energy? kinda makes me wanna stay home and watch reruns of I Love Lucy... Karma is just a way for people who feel they have been wronged to comfort themselves with the idea that the ones who have wronged them will be paid back in kind. But what kind of person is it who bases their entire worldview on the expectation of revenge-by-mystical-cosmic-balance? Seems to me the better course would be to move on, get past it, and learn something from it all. |

I do favor the idea of karma but not in that kind of personal sense where we each have a personal cosmic punisher - that makes no sense I agree. really - more of an idea (to me) like a natural law or a yin and a yang where we all impact the energy around us in a positive or negative way to varying degrees - an interdependence |

I agree Lex! I know too many good people that bad things happen to and too many bad people that live good lives while hurting others
