You should study the Civil War Spider, and the events leading up to it. The South seceded, because they had a minority in Congress and were fixing to lose a vote that would allow them to keep slaves. The reason they wanted to keep slaves was not entirely due to prejudice. Some, yes, but mostly for economic reasons, Either way it was wrong and destined to end, therefore there was a war. A war that saw family members split on both sides, fighting brother against brother, and father against son depending on which side of the issue they stood. It was a survival issue based on economics for the south more than anything.
This country is founded on the majority rules, and even then you will find that the cause of the civil war was brought about by this concept. The Southern States realization that they were going to be out voted, and over ruled by the majority is why they seceded from the Union.
Do you really think we should, or need to abandon this practice of majority rule now?

Oh yeah, I think MM is way out in left field. His arguements make valid points, but they are very extreme.
That said, he does bring a lot of attention to a serious issue in this country. I believe his extreme views are designed for that purpose, and believe that he does this country a great service by what he does.

The OP is using a trumped-up, sham premise to demand consistency-- while displaying none himself. He's sailing under a flag of truce while waiting for the opportune time to hoist the Jolly Rodger and fire a broadsides at point blank range. In this case, in the form of namecalling, which the OP and his chums seem to feel is some sort of talisman that will protect their Emperor-Without-Clothes' arguments from the cold.

Micheal Moore has the guts to attack issues that no one else does!!! I just lost an uncle to cancer because the Insurance company denied his claim and he could not afford the meds he needed!!!!
