Can someone please explain to me how it is that for months on end, after 9/11, the tragedy that took place was replayed over and over of the death, gore, and violence on worldwide tv, of the suffering of those AMERICAN citizens, and that was "somehow", okay? Yet, now Bin Laden is supposedly killed and there's video, yet this is "somehow" not fit for tv? I, for one, would like undeniable proof, and not someone's say so on it. If I sound suspicious, I am, dammit! How many times has the story already changed, anyway?.....and the excuses! Give me a break! We are already in over our heads...who gives a rat's *** if other extremists are offended! We, as americans, deserve better. We never saw bloody bodies from 9/11 on the TV so there is no comparison here, It would be really low class of us to put out his death photos, personally I would like America to keep a little class. i have to 10 websites that show the bodies of 9/11, along with the people jumping out the windows... the difference is there was more than on person filming on 9-11, compared to the one when bin laden was killed. I saw an interesting clip on the news today by some female senator. She said there would be no point is showing proof of his death because doubters are always going to doubt, and to show proof would not resolve anything.
I kind of agree in a way. People will see a pic and say that it has been photoshopped. You show them a video and they will complain it is too blurry or unclear, or you can't see his face, that could be anyone.... I believe it is true what she says about the doubters....always finding something wrong... I mean i would like to know without a reasonable doubt too, but there were plenty of witness. and apparently everyone in the white house DID see the video and agreed it would be inappropriate to release to the public. |

We, as americans, deserve better. there has not been collaberation of this level before about his death, I dont need nor could they provide any more 'proof' even pictures, at this point, could be claimed to be false or doctored there just is no PROOF, other than weighing the probabilities of what has been shown verifying the operations, and what has been shown verifying any other explanation,,,, I am on the side that there is overwhelming likelihood, on the mere number of OFFICIAL AND HIGHLY ACCOUNTABLE sources verifying it , that it is true (and some inside info,,lol) as to the pictures , it was the ones who lost the loved ones on 9/11 , the americans, who showed the pictures, , that would be different than if the responsible parties had shown them its one thing if I show my loved ones pictures at their funeral , its another if the man who murders them does it,,, |

There are legal devices that can be used to compel the Government to release information that is doesn't want to release. Liberals all know that there were many more photos of unspeakable acts of torture at Abu Graib that Congress suppressed. Conservatives were willing to turn a blind eye to those. I don't see why they are any more entitled to satisfy their curiosity on this matter. Personally, I don't believe that whether Bin Laden is dead has any real, practical consequences. I don't believe that he has been calling the shots over the 100 or so remaining Al Qaida for years. He was a figurehead, a symbol. If people want to continue to cry and whine about needing absolute proof, knock yourselves out. I wouldn't get in your way. |
