I guess you will have to trust me on this one.
It was DELICIOUS! And had no significant
pepper heat... but a ton of flavor.

Huh.
i am willing to try new stuff, always.
I like to go into a cupboard and make
something magnificent, from what
is available.
Except anything with avocados or asparagus.

A life without guacamole? So sad!

And without hives.
And throwing up.
Feeling..poisoned.
Not sad at all-)

That's weird!

What is in avocados to which you are allergic?

That's weird!
What is in avocados to which you are allergic?

No idea, alhtough usually it is the oils
that do one in.
I was at a party one time.
Because I have such low blood sugar, they
served me first, a burrito, which looked
delicious, and I was starving.
I took a bite, and before even knowing
what was in it (avocado) I hurled it clear
across the room.
I was stunned.
Started shaking, hyperventilating..all from
a bite I totally spit out.
Also, with asparagus, it happens too, only
I have only to smell it to toss my cookies.

Now, I loathe mushrooms (they taste like
rubber bands to me) but they don't make
me sick.
The two 'a' items have chased me like that
sonce I was a kid.
My brain is way ahead of me in recognizing it.

That makes sense! Most mutants have one or more super powers. Can your brain recognize anything else at distance?

I enjoy cooking. I have a couple of soup and chili recipes that I created myself.

Or sometimes others will say I "Chef it up"
I find that amusing

Hey DT :-)
That is the thing about cooking.
Immediate gratification if someone
likes it.

Men who cook are sooo attractive.

I grew up in the 50's and 60's when it wasn't really common for men to cook. But my Dad was a "hands on" kind of man who wanted to be involved with everything! He and my Mom cooked tasty meals together everyday. (And had fun!)...I wound up marrying a man just like my Dad who loved to cook and invent new recipes all the time. We were partners in the kitchen and partners in every aspect of life together. (Until he passed away last year.)
