I have a pen pal that I exchange a considerable volume of stuff with.At first, we just exchanged one or two big emails a day. Then I decided to try sharing all the little thoughts I had during the day in individual little emails. Then I started getting the same kinds of multiple little emails. I can say that the moment I checked my email and saw all the new emails, it was tremendously exciting. I call it "the mystique of the unread email" "I can't wait to see what the next one is going to tell me"!

i love reading long nails not everyone would waste their precious time to write a long mail so when someone dose i appreciate it and do the same its actually much fun than just mailing "how are you "

I love seeing emails from people I know, but when I get dumb ones from people saying, i just read your profile and am looking for someone to share my life with..

But I do love the hearing from new people who are looking fro firends as i like knowing everything about everyone..

Getting email from friends is a wonderful thing What gets me is the fact that I have made it clear on my profile that I am in a relationship, posted our pics and stated I am here for friends and I get at least one email a day asking if I want to meet someone???? So, not only do they not read the profiles, some aren't even taking the time to look at the pics

If it's from a friend here, I'm always happy to hear from them. Otherwise, it really depends on what the email says. Many don't write a whole lot and an email that says "hi" and that's it isn't very exciting.

Since I never get mail, I'm surprised when I get any from anyone

I like getting messages from people I know here. There are some who I've been talking to for years.

Mail from strangers usually is not as appreciated. Those tend to be scammers or complainers (people who have issues with the length and/or content of my profile) or people who have this idea that they can somehow get me to throw my values and standards out the window for THEM. Uh, I don't think so.

I'm just waiting for a message from someone who is a.) compatible and b.) close enough to actually meet in person. Although that will probably never happen, I'm open to the possibility.

Email: "Why aren't you chatting
in the forums today?"
Me: "Because I am answering email."
Email: "When will you be chatting?"
Me: "When I finish answering email."
Email: "You must get a lot."
Me: "Yes, yes I do. Keeps me from

I miss getting mail from others. But I know that life gets busy. :)

I am unfamiliar with the feeling. I get my emails answered, by most people, but nobody writes to me first hand. Or long hand.

I even have to write first to Nigerian scammers and Ukrainian vamps before they would write to me.
