just checked the garmin website. when you buy a unit from garmin, you can update maps once for free, only if you register the unit within sixty days of purchase. the map that is loaded on the unit i have is from 2008

Hey Texas People! A carold & galendgirl meet is taking place tomorrow at the Salt Grass on 59 and Bissonnet...anyone else in the area, stop on by! I can't make it down for that one, but if ya'll wanna join Maureen and I on May 20th we are gonna meet at the Texas Tavern in Cypress for drinks and music. Good band and I checked out the Tavern & they have a patio so we'll be able to chat & actually hear each other :)
