I was wondering, especially about the ones on dating or "mingling" sites like this one.....why do some girls post a profile pic with themselves posing with a friend and you have no way of telling which one is the person from the profile?

If it is the main profile pic, it is indeed not advisable to post one showing one with someone else. But if it is among those other pics in the profile, in my case, I put one because I like to show me with the people I go with. To kind of show how I am when with other people.

guys do it more than girls i mean you see a cute guy you would wanna date but he is in the arm of another man....(so not gay)

They want people to play "guess the person" -- in my experience, it usually works like this: a.) one girl is absolutely gorgeous, looks like she popped right out of a fashion magazine b.) one girl looks like Quasimodo after a wrestling match against a shark and a grizzly bear c.) one girl looks like Uncle Phil wearing a duck mask d.) one girl looks like she may not even be a girl, possibly this is a guy or a tree or some kind of tool shed I don't like the odds, frankly. |
