Leaving shoes at the front door...I get that you don't want to dirty the carpet...or need a pair of shoes ready in case of fire...but why do people leave a dozen pairs of shoes at the front door? Why not put all away except for the one pair you intend on wearing?
Whats your pet peeve?

'
Damned Right Maureen, I agee better to just *** the living hell out of whatever bintis horny.

Not sure how they lay out thier shoes is an issue...bt, I will pretend like it is really improtant.

Hmmm well I have six children and normally if we each drop a couple of pairs at the door, thats 14 pairs so by then we cant be bothered looking for the shoe we want in the pile so we grab another pair and it ends up in the pile so we get another pair, until the pile is so huge that we have to sort through it as we have grown out of them all and they have to be thrown away.noway

Dats right....Let the kids put on thier own damned shoes.

If they could find them in the pile they would, Sadly we normally go barefoot as we just cant be bothered looking, and who needs shoes here .

I have a thing about rude poor drivers. We all have to share the road so why be so rude and do things like not letting the person on the highway?

That has got to be my biggest pet peeve.

The big prong on the electric plug always goes on the left side. Before I got that one down, I never, ever got it right the first time.

Is that the trick?? I had no idea, THANKS! flowerforyou

Haha I keep a pair of flip flops by the front door cause normally I'm barefooted in the house and my feet are tender. So if I need to check the mail or take out the trash I have a pair of shoes I can put on real quick.....whoa

it's funny, i was walking oreo one day, and a woman saw him pooping and came running over and asked me if i needed a bag to put it in. I politely asked what the hell for, and the look on her face was just priceless. then, as i continued to walk him, i noticed about 10 baggies with dog poo all in the bushes, on the street, and on the grass...not to mention the trash pickup is on the street, about 3 foot away from where they threw their poo bags.. so, really, what is the point?

so i guess i am one of "those" guys...

Around here, not picking up dog poop in certain areas such as public walkways, parks/recreational area and private property other than your own is against the law and you can get fined for it. I'm fine with that, as why would I want to have to worry about stepping in dog poop on the sidewalk because some owner was being irresponsible?

i'm sure it wouldn't be the first time, nor will it be the last...i'm sure their are bigger issues to worry about than dog crap... if that is your biggest worry, then watch where you step...

If you're fine with dog shyt stuck to your shoes and tracking it inside, by all means, don't worry about it. I live downtown, though, and often see it right on the sidewalk. That says lazy, irresponsible dog owner to me.

sounds more like to me your blaming other people for your problems... if you are watching where your stepping, then there would be no issue here... i hardly see it as irresponsible, i watch where i put my feet down... and, oddly enough, i cannot remember the last time i stepped in any dog crap... i wonder why?

Exactly my point! ONE pair...the rest of your shoes get put away. One pair is all you need to get out the door. Thats why we have closets!

I have a friend, he was brain damaged in a car wreck, who almost kicked a guys butt in the restaurant for over-stirring his coffee. The clicking made him bonkers.

When he takes his meds, he's sort of ok with repetitive noises.

That's great that you have nothing to keep you busy during the day and your mind is blank to the point where you always see where your feet are stepping at any given point in the day, but some people have a lot on their minds or are talking on their cell phones or trying to carry groceries home and trying not to drop anything after they notice a tear in one of the bags, or busy trying to remember where they parked etc. etc. etc.

So yeah, it is irresponsible.
