We're going to cool down to about the high 90's today..But this wind won't let up..was just talking to a friend on face book..wild fires  out in West Texas...and in my area also..not good with this wind...no rain in sight...send us some of yours!

We had a little bit of rain here yesterday...not enough to share yet. But have rain in the forecast 4 days in the coming week. Maybe if I direct a really big fan to the South I can share...

Good morning allwaving Okies, it's now afternoon. 2.08pm & 66 degrees......must be beer o'clock I got in a bit late this evening...everybody was gone... But couldn't resist commenting... Spring...another truly excellent season.....currently 11pm and 51 degrees here at the center of the Universe... and everything is greening up and coming back to life. I missed beer o'clock, as I had to finish up my 3 days of work in a responsible manner.... Yet I am now into "Second glass of wine, winding down for the night" mode.

Good evening all.. well, it got up to 85 here today.. wooohooo!! Tomorrow now calling for rain and 72 and only 65 tonight...Is the pool open yet? It appears you skipped spring and went straight to summer.  Here we were thrilled to get to 77 yesterday. And today 60's... And as Spring often teases...and laughs.... the next week we will have highs 50's...lows 30's. Part of the joys of living in the Midwest. I'm not movin'....

A Priest and a Rabbi are riding in a plane. After a while, the Priest turns to the Rabbi and asks, "Is it still a requirement of your faith that you not eat pork?"
The Rabbi responds, "Yes, that is still one of our beliefs." The Priest then asks, "Have you ever eaten pork?" To which the Rabbi replies, "Yes, on one occasion I did succumb to temptation and tasted pork." The Priest nodded in understanding and went on with his reading. A while later, the Rabbi spoke up and asked the Priest, "Father, is it still a requirement of your church that you remain celibate?" The Priest replied, "Yes, that is still very much a part of our faith." The Rabbi then asked him, "Father, have you ever fallen to the temptations of the flesh?" The Priest replied, "Yes Rabbi, on one occasion I was weak and broke with my faith." The Rabbi nodded understandingly for a moment and then said, "A lot better than pork isn't it?" |
