good pick, MH. The Mountain Man style is so yesterday. (Like 1000 years ago). Strangely, I'm not even jealous. lol, thanx it would be strange if you were jealous, you dont seem the type at all,,, I couldn't watch the video, coz I don't click on links (like the second respondent to this thread.) Please expound in your own 1000 words or less, what you find masculine in a man, and caring in a creature. As it stands now, any comment on this topic by me would be a stab in the dark, tall and handsome. |

No wonder women like tall men. They can come up to snuff. I suggest a basketball team, standing on each others' shoulders. I am of course not being fair, as always. I asked, you replied; and you did not say that you insist on this, you just presented the ideal. Another A+ for you, Jayne Austen. ---- Edit: To be fair, this was a hard list to write, and I think you did an excellent job at it. I mean, any list is easy to write when you know what to put in it. The research (mental and emotional introspection) that came through you've done well was the part that was impressive. ---- Edit: In all fairness, I am not that man. |

The term can be used to describe any human, animal or object that has the quality of being masculine. When masculine is used to describe men, it can have degrees of comparison—more masculine, most masculine. In all cultures, the basic characteristics of manliness include physical prowess, (strength, fitness, and a lack of laziness) courage, and honourable behaviour[citation needed]. The opposite can be expressed by terms such as unmanly or epicene.[1] A typical near-synonym of masculinity is virility (from Latin vir, man);[1] and the usual complement is femininity.[1] see, no sissy stuff.. |
