Okay, so for todays challenge. A couple rules first. It CANNOT be your wife, husband, significant other. It has to be a complete stranger. And it has to be in real life, not on the computer!

For today, tell a complete stranger that they are beautiful/handsome.

Are you joking if I told some man that he would jump over the counter and grab me.. The men up here are lonely and I am thinking maybe desperate as they drool at any smile if i made them think I liked them I would be in mega trouble.
Dont think i am vain Im not, but there are way more men then women here and they take a smile and think you are madly in love so if I told them they where handsome that would be a disaster.

Wasnt actually planning on leaving the house So I will tell my dogs they are beautiful.

They wagged thier tails and demanded snacks and rubbing....just like real women...

Personaly, I flirt with strangers and get hit on pretty much any day I dress nice and groom myself.

Some people can takea compliment...some over react.

Because that's not the kind of remark that makes people feel good. It's weird. It will either be viewed as a "pick up" by a man or as just creepy by a woman.

I do not flirt with anyone up here, I have gotten myself in to much trouble just by being nice, let alone if i flirted,
Men come up here to work and are out bush for a month and then come into stay at our place and they are looking for someone, i dont want them getting any ideas that that someone is me

The only flirting I ever do is in here, or with anaconda

That kinda sucks but it is completely undertandable.

I am a hopeless flirt anyway, but since I got my new car, I get that look and stares EVERYDAY. I aint a big fan of possessions but, I gotta admit...that car is a chick MAGNET!!!!

These challenges are not for those that are too scared to try or for those that are completely happy with the way they are. These are for the people who want to push their own boundaries and see what happens. There is nothing creepy about telling someone they are beautiful. It all depends on the approach. If a guy walks up to a girl and say, "damn girl, you are smoking hot". Then yes, that is creepy and/or a lame pick up line. However, if you say this "Good morning, please don't take offense but I think you are very beautiful" That is a completely different approach.
As for women telling men they are handsome...what is so wrong about that? Use the same approach as above.

Some people can take a compliment as just that...a compliment.

Others can't take a compliment.

I agree krupa. But the fear of someone taking it the wrong way shouldn't stop one from trying. :)

I think only once in my life has a woman totally freaked when I told her she was beautiful. But that didn't stop me the next time.

Hmmm I dont have a fear of someone taking it the wrong way, but i do have the experience with single men who have been bush for a month,

You see, for one month these men work hard where they are not allowed women or alcohol, when they get here, they want both, I f I say to one that I think it he is handsome reguardless of how nicely I say it, He will try and take it further, He will be drunk later through the day, with his mates ,this is not a maybe it will happen, everytime I go outside he will be there round the pool or somewhere waiting to talk to me, I live here, I cannot leave and i do not have a man here, it would be silly for me to do something like that.

Okay, so for my challenge today it went very well. I was waiting to cross the street here in downtown Seattle and this gorgeous woman was standing next to me, so this is what I said.

"Good Morning Miss. I just wanted to tell you that you are very beautiful and to have a wonderful day." Then I walked across the street. About halfway across the woman caught up to me and asked. "That wasn't a pick up line?" When I answered no, she looked dumbstruck. I continued on my way and so did she.

People come to expect one thing and when something else happens, it throws them for a loop. Think of this next time you expect something to happen therefore it keeps you from trying it.

Ok, well I had a nice young man come into the office and i smiled and served him, and then I nicely told him that he had a very nice smile, and thenlike normal i said have fun, and gave him his key.
Ok so now i have had to get someone else to take over the office as he has had a little to much to drink and is now trying to get me to go to his room

i so hope that tomorrow he does not book in for another night.


And I will definatley think of this the next time before I try.
