Topic: Do you have a specific type? | |
---|---|
Since I'm tall and degreed I find my type that I prefer is for a lady to be college educated and petite, funny, cute, silly or goofy sometimes and relatively slender. Grad school isn't necessary but she's gotta be very smart and under five feet five and under 140 lbs. "wow. I'm close on this one. Really, Really close." |

As time goes on, I find that I don't really have any one specific type....just a few general wants:
- I have to find the woman attractive (Caveat: My definition of beauty varies wildly. One man's knock out might be my turn off, and vice versa. Physical attraction is less important than other forms, but still a consideration.) - I like a woman who can think. Maybe not educated or smart, but makes the best of her specific knowledge/intellect. On the other hand, the more I learn, the more I realize what types I, personally, am not. I like to think I can do anything, but that's not reality. And so, I am constantly discovering new limitations. (Yeah, I can be stubborn. ) |

Also, the kind of guy I like knows what he wants. There's none of this wishy washy indecisiveness going on.
And while he doesn't have to have a college degree, he does need to be smart. I don't do stupid. |

My type would be (looks up) shorter than I am which isn't hard at all as I am 6'5" tall. He would also not be unhealthy (eats at buffets or fast food more than once a month). He would have impecable manners. Obay every law of humanity & never be afraid to ask for help with anything.

I don't do stupid. ^I know that I shouldn't stereotype, but this was like 15yrs ago anyhow...I dated several guys that happened to be Libras within a few years & they all seemed wishy-washy...so led to the "I don't date Libras" rule! I have a long enough list of what I won't date that I may stay single 4-EVER |

For a long time I seemed to gravitate to tall
darkhaired men . But now a guy who's cuddly with a sense of humor does it for me! |

Haha. I know what you mean. I used to joke the same way with Aries men, but then they added another sign and an Aries suddenly had a different sign. |

I haven't gotten converted to the new system yet so still hold true to my sign stereotypes...no libras, cancers, or pisces! They just don't mesh well with me. I have name biases too! Michael & all derivatives being the most important to avoid I have had 2 LTRs & 1 FWB in the last 12 years & all had that name...time for a change I think |

Taller than I at least by 6 inches. Chubby/husky/a few pounds.
No tattoos. Few to no piercings. Non smoker/drug user. Rare/occasional alcohol drinker. Believer in god. Very down to earth. Random, playful, affectionate, sweet, playfully aggressive, lighthearted, thoughtful, creative, sincere. Completely honest. I call this "Type A", also known as "what I actually look for in a potential partner". |

Many times guys will do it their way. "Once" I went on a date, the guy kept asking me what I wanted to do and where I wanted to eat. I wanted to hear his suggestion first so I told him a couple of times that It was his choice. When I heard him say that he wanted to go to his place and watch a movie I froze. I then told him that I didnt think that was a good idea and told him exactly where I wanted to eat, and what I wanted to do. Unfortunately, I was already in the passenger seat of the car and I find out he was a control freak that didnt give a s***** about what I thought. When he pulls up at his house, I knew I had to let him know who the h*** I was. I was the hatefullest b***** he had ever seen! I let him know that he would never take me against my will again. Ladies have the night figured out on the phone before you ever go and Always drive yourself! Unfornately, my car wasnt available that particular night. Im now working on my arms to make sure I can kick a**. Just in case.
