Being a nice guy is not an identity or a simple descriptor; being a nice guy is a way of life. It is a complex system of rationalizing not cognitive dissonance to cognitive harmony, but the other way around. A nice guy goes from "I'm ugly and stupid, so no woman wants me, makes sense", which a harmony in terms of logical and emotional fitness, and then the nice guy goes on to "I'm very nice and no woman wants me. WTF?"

So a nice guy is a existentialist telescope that you look into from the wrong end; and nice guy is a boring emotion, a boring characterization typical to those who are not creative enough to find something else to Beeeech about.

Because, guys and girls, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Robust bullies also don't get the chicks, it just seems that way.

The biker chick in the black leather miniskirt and low-cut front? Long blonde hair? She ain't no trophy, if you go close. Heroin marks on her arm, a stamp on her buttocks that says "property of the hells angels motorcycle gang", marks of a few past police brutality, foul smell around the belly-button area. In fact, Hells Angels are my heroes, for their ability to stick with such one repulsive biker chick. I guess they feel a certain... something (music intro) -- cut that out!! Stop. (Music winds down.)

Or the doctors. They mainly work, they make so much money that they feel ripped off by themselves if they stop doing medicine (billable) even for five minutes. You'd think they get the chicks. Yes, they would, if they had the time. They angrily and jealously look at the nice guy they bring in with a broken leg, the physicians think bitterly to themselves, "this dude, he pinches the cute nurses lower back, he gives them stupid compliments and looks up their skirt. Lucky azzole, if I did one tenth of that, I would be kicked out of the profession. I need a stupid nurse to be present when I examine the gout of an eighty-year-old woman of seventeen Mormon children and two-hundred and sixty nine grandchildren, while these nice guys are nonchalantly touchign Sister Claudia's breasts when she takes their blood pressure. Life is no fair."

In conlcusion, ladies and gentlemen, everyone is a nice guy.

It's been rehashed before by others and for me personally......I'm over it. To not accept it would be like denying that the ocean isn't wet. It's less dry....

Now, that being said, I'm not trying to paint the entire gender with a long brush. I really am not, because I've met plenty of dudes who seem like geniune nice guys date the girl they wanted.

However, if I were to compare an opiniated rate between "nice guys" getting the girl OR "nice girls" getting the guy ....and all the people were at least decent looking.....

it seems to be a landslide for the latter. Feel free to disagree though.

i have been told on many accasions im a "nice guy" but i dont normaly find the girl thats good for me because im normaly ripped off by said miss right then i drop out of the loop for god knows how long then stick my head up for another sucker punch.
