As the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You are attracted to whoever you are for a myriad of reasons. Why would age difference have any impact on that? As far as I am concerned, I want to have more children. My ex had a hysterectomy back in 2000. Haven't had an opportunity to have a child since then. So, by default I am looking for a younger woman.

I think I found a very wonderful one now. Hoping all will work out for us down the road.

Really like the idea of being a new father again. I think she and I will have beautiful kids if we get that far.

I dont think about age if they can dance!

we get so caught up in being independent that we forget - old, young, or in between - we all need to be nurtured in a variety of ways

some people actually enjoy the caretaking of others as a gift of love- the way a woman prepares dinner for her family, or a man

Age is just a state of mind, I have dated older and younger than I am and things were fine at the time... but obviously they were not good enough of a match or I would still be with them. The only thing that is iffy would be the ages that people think you are father/daughter or mother/son but that is just me. What ever floats your boat...

The older a man the many lessons he learned from his many experiences in life. The more experienced man, the more improved ways to handle things in life so the better ways to keep a relationship going. At least that seems to be true to some older men

These are general reasons but all may not apply to every man who chases younger women:

1. Wanting to be with an attractive women. Unfortunately as we age the one great advantage women have below the belt begins to dwindle and they have to compete with younger women.

2. In this day of internet communications women have a broader range of competition within their age range and younger.

2. It bolsters older guys' egos. No different than older women continuing to attracting men feel more desireable.

3. Younger women have:
a. More energy
b. More spontaneity
c. Less of lifes baggage: less negativity

4. When meeting a perspective date older women tend to have longer laundry lists of "thou shalt/thou shalt not" than younger women. Sometimes making the date resemble a job performance review.

5. As women age sex becomes less spontaneous and they exhibit less interest. Less open to experiment with new idea's. So some men turn to younger women.

6. "Some" (not all) women: the longer they are single become more "ME" centered. He'll change for me but I won't change for anyone.

Yes the saying goes 'Older Folks are more Experienced' but not older folks can make a decision pertaining to something they experienced ......yet my point is not all older folks are mature , can make snappy decision and still be on top of their game .....

just like how Younger people are seen as immature ...

Decision making seems to grow on you. It is something however, that one must want to do and age has nothing to do with it.Rather, it is the desire to change.

I made up kind of a rule of thumb once. 30 is the best year of all. You are at the point in your life when the curve for your physical/emotional/intellectual ability to create fulfilliment intersects with your physical/mental ability to enjoy life.

i have experience .......don't make the same mistake twice ......

^^this...my exs mom runs around acting like a teenager! You can not plan anything that involves her or she will throw a big monkey wrench in it and either pitch a fit or start trying to guilt trip you when she doesn't get her way. She was in love with her landlord & got his initials tattooed on her neck, not to mention the tramp=stamp at age 55! This man would not even kiss her...WTF was she thinking? She tried treating me like I was one of her kids...that did not go over well since I am about 40 years more mature! This family thinks as long as you have spit out a couple of kids them you are grown, know it all, and get to rule the roost!
