So do you think when they write their interests are hunting, fishing, hiking and sports....THEY EXPECT US TO GO with them or they just WANT US TO KNOW they do those things? Cause I have never even touched a gun, I'll cook the fish but I don't like fishing, and I figure why hike when you have a perfectly good car, well sports please... I'll go camping but you will wish you had never brought me along (NEED A LOTA CHEEZ TO GO ALONG WITH THAT WHINE)...unless we have a nice cabin with indoor plumbing, jacuzzi, fireplace and nice plump pillows...  I didn't say I would be waiting around at home...I just said I aint goin with ya....ha

I love being outside....... and I don't mean going to the store and getting batteries either. I just love traveling which is my main reason for being outside. I did a lot of "camping" in the military thank you. Lying in the rain, etc..... I also think some men use this to make women think that they are of the "caveman and macho" types. Scary!!!!!!! |

One of my favorite outdoor treks is the Ghetto. It's like that Elvis Presley song, "In The Ghetto." You really see how people live when you walk in the Ghetto.
However, as a Caucasian, there are, quite honestly, not a lot of other Caucasian women who like jerk chicken or ox-tail soup. And you can really only get good food like that... ...in the Ghetto. |

However, as a Caucasian, there are, quite honestly, not a lot of other Caucasian women who like jerk chicken or ox-tail soup. And you can really only get good food like that... ...in the Ghetto. I once got lost in Watts(LA). That is a real nature walk (or in my case ride)...especially at night..but we asked for directions and the natives were very helpful...no oxtail soup was offered though...hehe |

when did this big outdoors movement begin and why are we still such an obese country if this is truly representative of men in general? That doesn't mean they're ACTIVELY busy in the outdoors. They're just more likely to enjoy it. They're probably packing along cases of beer, and junk food and stuff. Heck, even the hunters are going to go sit and hide and get drunk, not stalk and crawl and truly hunt. |

I wonder how many of those men actually sit in front of the TV more than they go outside. i guess i love the outdoors, but i am just as comfy laying around, i love bikes and walking, but hate sports. I love reading and movies but hate scary and violent movies. |

I'm not sure if it's a caveman thing, I feel that guys just put those things in their profiles to show some of their general interests. I for one do spend a great deal of time outdoors with my job, hunting, fishing, snomobiling, photography, etc, yet I don't camp. There a lot of things I read in profiles that I have not done, but I would be willing to try.
