Red_Lace, Red_Lace, if you ever come down to New York, let me know. I know a great fish and chips place.

Shiki has been asked this question quite often. When a man and a woman are friends, and decide to make it a romantic relationship, you can never go home again. That is, once you cross that line, you can't go back. It's never the same. I heard talking about yourself in third person is a sign of low self esteem. =) |

There is a great place called A-Salt-and-Battery. has fantastic fish and chips, and they even wrap it up in newspaper.
But, Red_Lace is committed to me, so you'll have to go separately. Just kidding. Seriously, those tattoos are very fake. Come on, nobody believes they are real. |

Red Lace.
2KidsMom. Red Lace. 2KidsMom. What is this magical pull that Shiki has over women? OK, it's not me. It's the fish and chips. Women go hog-wild over Fish and Chips. And so, the moral of this story is. Fish. Not good in the vag area. Great in newspaper. |

Shiki has been asked this question quite often. When a man and a woman are friends, and decide to make it a romantic relationship, you can never go home again. That is, once you cross that line, you can't go back. It's never the same. So, if you have a friend of the opposite sex, and you are thinking "What if we take it to the next level," you do so at your oen risk. It's like swimming at the beach without a lifeguard. For if the break-up happens, and the woman says, "Well, we can still be friends," run, run, run to the hills. It just doesn't work. Just my two cents. Shiki Wrong. |

I was actually dumped. See though...I think there is a certain way to handle things and you can still be friends. Of course...when it first ended, I wanted nothing else to do with her. I was hurt...so why would I. I would see her out and about every now and again but never really said much to her. Well after about 2 years of not having contact with her, we ran into each other. Well we started talking and ever since we have been great friends. She's married...and her husband and I are great friends as well. So I think it works....you just have to have time for the healing or recovering process. And once you have separated your self from that time in your life....you can be friends with that person.

Very interesting point. Usually, with me, women want to throw sharp utensils at me or run me over with their cars.
OK, I will amend my statement. MOST times, you can't have both. But, as you have shown, there are exceptions. |

Im still good friends with a lot of my exes....maybe because I am mature and I also dated mature people who knew where to draw the line and when to end it. . .It didn't kill our compatible ways though as friends.

I am pretty lucky.
Because they ALL want to be more than friends, it is easy to never go there. Just a big herd of wannabe's, forever friends :-) |
