I prefer to listen to college radio a lot more since I know that Libs are there but the station itself has no agenda! I listen to KCRW 88.9 Santa Monica! NPR is not college radio. One: If a representative is raising funds for a media station and also make promises to lend a voice to the contributor, be they Muslim, fanatic democrat/ liberal, Fanatic conservative, depraved pedophile, etc, and while raising funds expresses views like Mr. Schiller's, well, see where this is going? Or do I need to spell that out? NPR definitely seen his remarks for what they were! Mr. Schiller was not forced to retire, he was fired! That is just the spin to protect sensitivities! And has Mr. Schiller apologized for his remarks? Not that I have seen yet!

Two: When I am the only person available to do Aquarium Work of the kind I do there are two options, go without, or hire me. And likewise I have refused to work for people before not by income becasue I do have a soft side but I locked that up and only let it out here and there if I think the person is deserving. I have done charity work before and not blown my horn about it becasue that unto itself is shallow. There is a difference between a hobbyist and a professional. I make emergency calls at some god awful hours. I also put the time in to get a job done right. I have experience a hobbyist does not have too. I likewise have alternate expertise that make me a far more valuable asset than just anyone else.

I have the luxury of choosing who I work for. I may come off as vain at times but when I am right I am not rubbing people's noses in it unless they have it coming! And I relish it when I can and do prove people wrong and not let them hide behind facades and bravado.

Besides, chances are if you needed my help I would not lend it anyways. Likewise Congress would be forced to address the trade deficit.

He didn't make a promise to lend a voice to anybody. I think they call that "assuming facts not in evidence". Please do spell it out. Only please stick to the material that was actually in the video. NPR eplained very clearly why he was fire. (Nobody but you ever mentioned the word "retired"). Why should Mr. Schiller apologize to anybody but NPR for his actions? How do you know he didn't.
