While it can be distracting and can lead to wasting a lot of time, I personally would be lost without the internet.

Ahhhh....The Internet...my 13 & 17 yr old sons cannot imagine a time when it did'nt exist. They have so much tech stuff around here it scares me... if they're wifi goes out they are totally lost....PS3,laptops,Ipods,pc's,even our blueray is connected to the internet

The internet is like anything else. Control it or let it control you. Remember....you are the one with the brain and the ability to turn it off.

This happens to me EVERY DAY....
The internet has been my portal to HELL and back and
has given me highs and lows...
then I go out- take a walk
work, play ,laugh, talk to my kids
watch a movie, play a game...
balance is the key...

I also try to remember that everyone I have contact with is a REAL person sitting behind a computer, with feelings just like me...
