Topic: Question for Mac Users | |
---|---|
I just learned that I can upgrade my old OS from Tiger to Snow Leopard. I bought the package to do that, but I'm scared to death to do the install. Apple sez it should work fine, but I have concerns. Will I lose any of my files? Will there be any apps that used to work but won't any longer?
Has anybody done this? |

You should be fine. Mac's are pretty good about not losing your data. However, if you are worried. You can go buy an external hard drive and look up how to use Mac's Time Machine backups. Then you can simply run the backup onto the drive and if anything goes wrong, you can just reload everything you backed up.
