You don't know right off the bat who is lying or telling the truth.

But you should always TRUST one until they give you a reason not to.

One should never judge others on first impressions either, for no matter what that person portrays on the outside what is on the inside at times will totaly amaze one if they are given the chance.

Now I'm one that is very big on someone making eye contact with you while you talk to them, but....... one also must take in consideration if you just meet that person are they real shy or not. But now if it is someone you have been around and had no problem in the past making eye contact with you. Hummmm ya better think long and hard before ya ignore it.

thank you for all the responses...i appreciate them all..but everyone is talking about "looking them in eye" can help to see if they are lying...but I was talking about having not even met them yet...how can you tell if they are lying??I hear ya on the "eye" thing...but curious to know about "online"lying....?

You just gotta trust your instincts... and hope for the best.

alot of times you can tell when someone is lying because they hesitate to give you an answer... i was to meet someone the other day in rl and well.... last minute they backed out.. what does that tell you lol. oh well but if you really watch it you can pick up on things they say. but also same time try to give them trust and hope the way you're thinking is wrong.

Well one thing I do know is if anyone spends anytime on this forum there actions will speack loader then words. Like with most things things take time and if you want to get to know if the person is gouing to be real or nottry sitting back for a little while and watch because people tend to show themselves after being on here for a little while
