Words slicing dicing, slashing trashing,
They come out with verbal fists swinging, bashing
Battering and bruising the mind, its
a gladiator ring of competition and warring,
With barbed words, meaningless yet so pointed,
Aimed sharply at the center of a woman, looking
to wound to bleed a purity of spirit, a childlike
Innocence tarnished by the word filled beating of
the soul, a haloed heart rusted by tears poured down
Thru vicious malicious teethed dark personalities, all
vying for the position of top dog and who can
Be the cruelest? with their insidious innuendo of
ugliness and vile accusation directed toward the
Innocent of mind dancing mildly wildly thru life with
a love driven joy and musically laughter filled spirit,
Lacking nothing more than intuition of evil intentions and
visions of the pain and soul slaughter they never saw coming……
The inmates have taken over the asylum.
