I've been on here about 5 months longer than you, and I have the same situation in my area. I haven't given up. Instead, I loosened my restrictions as far as distance. I also began posting in the Forums more often. Both made a big difference.

You're young. It's a risk/reward scenario. You may have to take a bigger risk, and if you find something, put everything into making it pay off.

I wrote 6 profiles on other sites, and probably edited each one at least twice, before I wrote a profile here on Mingle that actually drew interest. Plus there are plenty of ghost readers in the Forums, so if someone takes interest in you there, they check out your profile. So, if your profile is lacking AND you rarely post in the Forums, you are generating, let's say, a quarter of the interest that you could be, if not much much more.

One of the best p[laces to pick up chicks is at the laundromat.

Why not just for giggles push the boat out and drag your sorry excuse of a page to profile review and get help as suggested. Couple of clicks and you are there. You can even take a nap after if the effort wears you out. In New Orleans and 19 talking about I am so alone. Shame on you lazy smurf!
