Yes I do dear lady.

Yay! I'm currently starting to plant some basil. I used to have plenty of Thai basil, but I'm experimenting with other varieties. When they grow, I usually make pesto and store them in jars. Which basil do you think or in your experience makes the best tasting pesto?

I like to use Lemon basil, or Genovese basil, or one most people have not heard of before. Which Siam Queen basil. If you use the and like the Thai basil you will like the Siam basil. It has a very wonderful smell to it. It grows large flower heads in hues of purple.
Genovese basil is used the most. The Purple ruffles is also a grand one to grow and to use in Pesto.

Ooh, I don't think I've grown those before. Yes, I think all basil plants has a nice smell. I love smelling their leaves in the morning. I'll look into your recommended variety and try it. Oh, have you ever found a use for the flowers?

I know of some cooks that use the flowers from the purple ruffles, in their salads. I have not used the flowers. Some of people I know dry them.

El Torito or El Tapatio. Both are good. Mexican food is another favorite of mine.
