don't need to be stepping on anyone's toes

a motorcycle works similar to a standard/manual shift car. if you can work a clutch it will make motorcycle riding lessons easier

well i can drive a manual car. did it most of my life and i miss it so much grumble

there you go. i suggest you start off with a small cc (cc is the cubic centimeter size of the engine) bike so that it is light and not too powerful. 250cc is a nice light bike or even an atv might work

motorcycle training courses last only a few hours, cost about 150 dollars and if you take one you get a discount on insurance, also are exempt from the driving portion of the test to get an "m" license (m for motorcycle in texas) and you don't have to wear a helmet if you so wish to operate a motorcycle without one in texas

cool:smile:
but no helmet is not a good idea!huh

Wed 02/16/11 06:56 PM
some people like the helmet, some don't. they are pricey and you should replace a helmet every three years or so. most helmet manufactures stop making parts for a helmet model after five years
