Mine is an ancient Polish word that means either "He who carries the big stick" or "He who walks with skidmarks in underpants" Both seem creepily accurate. :) It's not the stick you carry...but, the marks left behind!  To original poster I am famaliar with the sexual 69 position. usually I'm the one with a dirty mind but I thought it was the year you were born! So, don't worry about it! |

so what if you want to date a one legged episcopalian kangaroo. the same bait doesn't work for every fish. people have opinions and some you can consider, while others you dismiss. be yourself bro and IF you attract someone, make a friend. if not you are no better or worse off than when you started. i found that i don't like reading some peoples posts no matter what they have to say, so i skip over their threads, or their posts. others i read even if they just post a smiley. keep the username/lose the username, either way, stay and enjoy the forums the way you want

We have talked before and you seem pretty normal to me. I say don't sweat the small stuff. IF someone judges you solely by a username you picked, then why worry about it. If they take time to know you, then they can see who you really are. Take Care friend.

Hummm ya know if it is the name that is causing you grief then look at it from others perspective.
I mean get real if a woman came on here and put her user name as wetp***y69 ya going to tell me that everyone's mind is not going to the gutter?  I rest my case........... Solution change your user name if your seriously looking long term or keep it if ya just looking to hook up....simple as that...

I think it is unfair to say that if people are put off by a first impression and don't take the time to get to know someone than that is their problem in this instance.
First impressions are important. No, we should not rely on them entirely, but they do speak volumes. If I showed up to a first date wearing dirty clothes and hadn't showered or brushed my teeth, what would you immediately think? You'd think I was a disgusting slob and the date would be over. Even though you didn't take the time to get know me better. I might be a really nice person, but you're not gonna find out because I'd never get past the first date. No, you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. However, when you're browsing through the bookstore and you don't have time to read every single book, the book cover is going to tell you a lot. |

I am sorry to all those who are offended by my username. I thought it sounded better than funnybone and I'm a cancer, so 69 is my sign. If you judge me by my name and not make an attempt to get to know me, then what kind of person are you? You have to keep in mind that the first impression you're giving people here is from your user name, picture and profile. I find it hard to believe that you do not know what "69" means and are wondering why some people may be put off by your user name. If you like the user name and it works for you, that's great. But, on a site like this, getting mad at people because their first impression of you is not what you wanted is silly. |

I've used spit and tree bark as bait and rocks to knock them out with good results...... some fish aren't real bright....... If all else fails.....that's why we have explosives....... Even though.....it's amazing how far a catfish can swim after it swallows an M-80....... |

Hey, sometimes you gotta get inventive. hehe I'm still not sure if (or what kind)of licence is required to fish with spit and rocks..... At least my little niece and nephew were both amused and amazed..... ALMOST surprisingly (have you seen the Mon river?), those catfish are quite explosion tolerant critters.... Reminds me of the time I inhaled acetylene and tried blowing flames (I'll never try THAT again!).... Next time I'll have to bring my 'A' game and have M1000's (I found out that party balls full of confetti do some interesting things with them. :P). Other than this 2 degree weather, my year hasn't been tooooo bad so far. Especially now that my Steelers are going to the Super Bowl to get ring #7 and my Pens are still looking good for another Stanley. OH YEAH! How's your year been going? |
