Topic: Red Flags/Pet Peeves/Turn-Offs | |

If you meet someone for the first time that you think you are attracted to, what would be a "Red Flag" or "Pet Peeve" about the person that would stop you from dating them or something? For me it is smoking, I met a girl in college that we seemed to hit it off but when we went out of the building she lite up and it was a total turn off for me. I was just curious what other people thought about their turn-off and whatever...

oh my, there is no absolute mind you, because adults should be able to speak openly and honestly(with respect) and compromise on things that are important to them
but Id say the following things make me a bit uncomfortable when meeting people in person and keep me moving on to the next when checking profiles or pictures 1. Anyone over the age of thirty who still speaks as if they are in high school 2. Anyone whose age range stops at the age they were TEN YEARS ago or longer 3. Anyone whose regularly got a drink in their hand or who is either consistently serious or consistently goofy,,, 4. Anyone with kids they dont support. 5. Anyone who belittles the bible or God. 6. Anyone who has a bad family relationship with parents, siblings,, whatever 7. Anyone who looks like a walking art exhibit(tattoos, piercings, etc,,) 8. Anyone who 'doesnt like' kids 9. Cat persons,,lol 10. Clothes that dont fit(either too tight or DROOPING and too big) 11. Any extremely political folks who seem to have a passionate dislike of one party or another or one politician or another 12. Anyone whose screen name is an obvious sexual reference or body reference. 13. Those who make the gym their second home or second job. I dont like to share my romance with anyones obsessions..lol 14. Anyone who is a constant victim or perpetual bully. 15. ,,, I think thats it,, probably why Im still single , huh? lol |

For me Red Flags would be - if he didn't get my number, didn't take any initiative to makes plans - even just plans to call. Any sign that he will be difficult uncaring or a user BTDT |

Bad teeth or they stink. This may sound weird but my sense of smell is super sensitive. I do my best to look an smell good, so should the person I'm dating.
