Oh, okay, I was afraid we were going to see an influx of people from the Dallas, Ft. Worth, Arlington area "looking for intimate encounters" in the next three weeks due to the Super Bowl coming in to Arlington. Lately, the news has been talking about everything being prettified and making a good impression for the drug users and prostitutes that are expected.

I do not expect a great influx of members. More realistically, a trickle in effect, a gradual building of membership, which will eventually lead to larger numbers. It's just not going to happen overnight. When you consider the fact that forum posters are only a small percentage of users, then conversely, only a small percentage of new users (from this venue) will have a small impact on the boards. You may notice a little more activity than normal, but not an overwhelming flood. I think everything will come within balance and time, and i'm certainly for site growth.

Personaly I will quit mingle when that happens...I'm not on face book, don't want to be on it, and don't trust it

Mark's right-on with his response. It's not going to be a huge change, but it should give us a gradual bump in members. Just as important, it will make it easier for those who use both sites to get on. It will also not hinder those who only want to use Mingle2 (it's subtle enough).

We mulled over the pros and cons, of course, and we're excited about the prospects.

Let me get this straight, Mingle2 will no longer be it's own site but only available through FaceBook? Is this right?? If so, why?

I have never bothered to learn to navigate Facebook and when I have tried to I find it confusing.
