I'm fortunate to have a handful of friends who love me in spite of myself...and a whole bunch of fairweather associates who aren't really 'friends'. Do you stay friends even though they do things you don't agree with or do you make judgment calls and walk away... What would a friend have to do for you to be done?! Drink all my rum..........  ...c'mon, it was cheap rum!

I don't trust people very well & only a few will gain my trust. I've had my # changed & very few even has my phone #. I got tired of being everyones taxi when I was in the AA program probably 90-95% of the people there doesn't have a license so they call on everyone who does. get's old being used after awhile.

Regardless what my friends do within their own life that is their business. When they include me in on the drama or direct the drama towards me that is when I dissociate them as a friend...
I believe everyone deserves a second chance well unless they sleep with the one I'm with......but there is no second chances...

if my friends want help to bury a dead body, drive a getaway car, smuggle drugs, drop kick a cat over the house, or whatever floats their boat, i'm there AND will commit perjury in court afterwards. my friends are that dear to me. thing is i WILL talk my friends out of doing anything that might or will result in unwanted consequences. i can be very persuasive...

I have many acquaintances like that also and I call them acquaintances because such people have no idea how to be a friend. If someone was really my friend I wouldn't be concerned about what they would have to do to lose that status. I have a few friends, none of them nearby unfortunately. But once I've made a friend, it is usually for life. We can't expect perfection from our friends - and we can't give it either but if someone causes me undue hardship that is usually the end of it. People make mistakes all the time though, all of us. So before forsaking a friend entirely, I'd say to hear them out. |

Try moving a hide-a-bed...... every last one of those pu$$ie holes will run... You will then find out, it dont matter if you donated a kidney or if you saved thier grandma with the Hieny lick maneuver..... When they aint willing to lug dead weight the size of thier ex down 3 feet of stairs......they are weinies that you have been dumb enough to think that they are actually your friends. |

You REALLY wanna know who your friends are? Try moving a hide-a-bed...... every last one of those pu$$ie holes will run... You will then find out, it dont matter if you donated a kidney or if you saved thier grandma with the Hieny lick maneuver..... When they aint willing to lug dead weight the size of thier ex down 3 feet of stairs......they are weinies that you have been dumb enough to think that they are actually your friends. Moving in general will show you who your friends are!! All my buddies bailed once when I moved cause it was the first day of fishing season!! They all said we have trucks, don't rent one etc etc and two days before moving day I was left high and dry!! Course these were bar friends, not real friends!! I have a few long time friends who have stuck by me through thick and thin and I by them. Real friends understand imperfection and love us anyway. |
