Sunday, I get to take my nieces, 18, 16, and 11, out for the afternoon. There is a big boat show in town but that doesn't sound like something they would like. Other than feeding them, what would be fun? A few weeks ago I took them to the National Pacific War Museum, which they endured politely.

That's a good idea. Shopping might be fun for them but defeats the purpose of doing something with me.

what about a movie at the theater?

maybe some game time in a local arcade

A movie might not be bad but I was trying to find something that we could do together with some interaction. An arcade might be perfect. I haven't been to one is so long I don't even know what games they have. I guess some never go away like the shooters, cars, and similar.

Ohhh heck take them for a manicure and pedicure then go eat and after wards a movie and you will be their hero....but...........be ready to put out the bucks if ya do all that... most expensive will be the manicure & pedicure or you could just pick one of the two.....bigsmile

Actually just recently went to play laser tag at my granddaughters birthday. But my daughter and I did it as well. Heck the adults had more fun then the kids did and that is something all could enjoy. We went to a place called Main Event that offered bowling, pool, games & laser tag.

It is out of the norm for most but fun for all ages..

Mani/pedi would probably be fun for them (I hope my brain doesn't die) but I expect that they do that to each other all the time. Maybe that doesn't make any difference.

I'll call their mom and ask her to ask them for requests. I was hoping for some unique "When I was a teenager my uncle took me to watch armadillos race and it was a blast" or something like that.

They don't have public beheadings any more and I have already taken them to the pig races.ohwell

The bookstore is one of my favorite places. I wonder if they would like it? I know some used bookstores that drive bookworms crazy with excitement.
