As a "believer", I don't consider myself religious, I find it ironic that Revelations 20:12 reads "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life."
In numerology every number has a corresponding letter associated with it. The date 12-21-12 reads as, A-B-B-A-A-B. When you consider that the Hebrew language is read from right to left, this date would read BA ABBA.The Hebrew translation for BA ABBA is "Father comes / is coming"
The astrological facts of what's happening in the solar system isn't debatable. The magnectic poles will/are shifting. SO.....I don't think there's anything to fear, and other than peace with God there is nothing to prepare for. I do believe change will happen, just gotta have faith.

There is nothing wrong with saying you are religious. Religions are based on faith. The root of the English word "Religion" was originally used to mean reverance for God/Yahushua or the gods. There already is much fact coming to light about the truths of the Bible. So I'm thinking, if you're a God fearing<loving> person, you have a religion...therefore, are a religious person.
Everything is shifting. The earth axis is rotating and planets are aligning. That means big changes. Mankind is here for such a short time and this earth is just to beautiful and valuable for it to go up in "smoke". Every detail was thought of during creation...God's Special Project". So my opinion is, get your house in order and let go of the evils of mankind. Prepare yourself for the Love that is forthcoming. I agree, there is nothing to fear. Let go, put your fate in Yahushua's hands and enjoy the ride.

Personally I so absolutely no difference between a religious or non-religious person in these cases.

Makes no difference at all.

End of days ... armageddon ... end times ... 2012 catastrophe.
or just falling off a ladder and breaking your neck.

dead is dead ... and that is the end of this world for you.

make peace with yourself/god/whatever and realize that you could be living your last moment at any moment and it really doesn't matter if its the last moment for everyone or not.

Except if there is a big line at the gate it might take a little longer to get in.

The difference comes 'after' the end. That is where the new world takes over. Imagine this...no hatred...no greed. Nothing that resembles 'bad'. Only everything that resembles Love and kindness, sharing, giving...everything good and pure. Why wouldn't anyone want to experience that?? I don't know what resides in your heart; but if there is a shread of 'maybe?' ... then know that God has you in his sights  And...if there is a big line at the gate...what ticket do you hold??

And where does your gate take you pratell??

I am not sure...

I still have soooo much of this reality to discover I am not yet ready to cross that thin veil and turn the key...

I am sure it will be good.

God is.

One Baktun ends, another begins. It's still just another day. And a great reason to throw one EPIC party!

The most fascinating thing about the Mayan Epoch for me is the fact that the Mezo-American civilizations didn't leave any archaeological evidence behind until about two and a half thousand years after the "start date" of the calendar. What happened before then? Did they inherit the calendar from a previous civilization? If so, who? What happened to them? And the biggest question of all, What historical event were THEY counting up from?
