Looking at Americans from outside does make a better view of their faults. Speaking with people from other countries allows an eye opening to the arrogance and ignorance still rampant in this country.
In order to be the best we can be we have to be able to recognize our faults and weaknesses.
One of our weaknesses is that we do not care for our sick and elderly well.
The show of a countries wealth is not the amount of millionaires, it is how it cares for its poor, ill and elderly. We are not as wealthy as we should be.
So here you're saying we are wealthy enough, and yet if anyone achieves wealth, then you want to tax them at a higher rate and spread their wealth.
Contradictory to me.

And you can look at America's strength's and weaknesses and pound your fists because it does'nt live up to your idea of Utopianism, but its still the best country in the world and we dont need to appologize to anyone.
If it were'nt for the USA, many other countries would'nt even exist!!
We've saved France, Germany, England, Poland, Italy, and quite a few others.
If they dont like us....F' em.

No one can say the holocaust is a good thing but if you put it in historical perspective you can look at what the spanish did to south america or what we did to the Indians. Dont even want to mention the slave trade. Just saying the point is mute as it seems every civilization has done horrible things in its past and because of that it doesnt mean they have no valid argument about what is happening now, its rather moronic to think that way.

Dont even want to mention the slave trade. I think it showes a lack of depth to use something so shallow as a talking point. Realy since at one time the Germans were brainwashed into genocide half a centruy ago doesnt not make for a strong talking point. However I honestly feel that if some of the posters on this forum lived in that time they would be willing participents in genocide and be the best Nazis ever.
