![]() http://www.thelocal.se/31130/20101229/ The man, who is in his sixties, first visited a local clinic in Blekinge in southern Sweden in September 2009 for treatment of a urinary tract infection, the local Blekinge Läns Tidning (BLT) reported. When he returned in March 2010 complaining of foreskin irritation, the doctor on duty at the time diagnosed the problem as a simple case of inflammation. After three weeks passed without the prescribed treatment alleviating the man’s condition, he was instructed to seek further treatment at Blekinge Hospital. But it took five months before he was able to schedule an appointment at the hospital. When he finally met with doctors at the hospital, the man was informed he had cancer and his penis would have to be removed. It remains unclear if the man would have been able to keep his penis had the cancer been detected sooner. The matter has now been reported to the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) under Sweden’s Lex Maria laws, the informal name used to refer to regulations governing the reporting of injuries or incidents in the Swedish health care system. |

But do the shi*heads here think about the possibilities of how bad government health care would be? Do they see what happens in countries with socialized health care? NO
Sheeple suck, Sheeple swallow, Sheeple are stupid, Sheeple are Sheeple. And most of all Sheeple think that the answer to everything is more government. |

Yes,
A man took his wife to the hospital in Richmond Va because she was in labor. It was their first child. The Dr who was to deliver the child was playing golf at the local country club when he received the call. It was something he and his friends, all doctors, did regularly during the week. While his friends continued to play. The Dr. went to see his patient at the hospital. He promised to return soon as he left. Knowing this was his patient's first pregnancy, and that the labor could go on for hours, the Dr. immediately ordered a Cesarean section. In his hurry to get the job done and return to the country club, and his friends. The Dr. cut too deep. So deep that his scalpel actually cut the baby's face. The baby was a girl. A healthy little girl, other than a gash requiring 2 stitches to close, on her face when born. |

"But it took five months before he was able to schedule an appointment at the hospital." This kind of delay is a result of gov'ment run health care. Socialized medicine (or anything) by its nature lacks a mechanism for determining accurate prices and in turn makes calculating the necessary supply to match demand impossible. |

At least they are investigating it. The Va courts told the man and woman above, that only the child, upon reaching legal age could sue the Dr or hospital. 18 or 21 yrs later. LMAO At least the gov plan had someone investigating. Probably by the same law. I think I prefer the gov's plan. |

It wasn't that long ago that a hospital in L.A. got caught dumping off patients, still in their hospital gowns, on skid row streets, because they couldn't pay their bills.
