It still doesn't make it illegal. Please don't change the subject.
I am not repsonsible for your lack of comprehension. I would suggest you scroll up and re-read.

With the information provided at the time the war was not illegal thus it isn't illegal. For example if I knowingly purchase a stolen car I am committing a crime. If you sell me a stolen car but have false documents stating it is yours and I believe you I didn't commit a crime only you. Thus you act of selling me a stolen car was illegal but my act of purchasing it wasn't. Thus I say the war was not illegal.

LIE #9: "We know where [Iraq's WMD] are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south, and north somewhat." -- Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, March 30, 2003, in statements to the press.

FACT: Needless to say, no such weapons were found, not to the east, west, south or north, somewhat or otherwise.

http://www.alternet.org/story/16274?page=2

Just prior to the first gulf war Saddam moved those WMD as well as most of his chemical materials in a massive airlift to Iran. This was a miscalculation on his part. (The Iranians promptly confiscated all of it). Saddam did this hoping thinking that the first gulf war would lead to an invasion of his country (which did not happen then).

these weapons did exist and the research materials seized from the 'airlift' by the Iranians is what accerlerated their nuclear program.

Doesn't anyone pay any attention anymore?
How about one slice of truth to this? a link that is credible? Personaly I blame Fox news for your misinformed opinion.

I wouldnt be ashamed if I were you most americans live in a fantasy world. The links I provided go directly in most cases to treaties we have signed renouncing wars of agression. To repeat by the terms of Nuremburg americas invasion of Iraq is Illegal. Any treaty america signs is binding. However international law is something this countrie uses to punish foes and ignored when it applies to the US. We also ignore the Geneva convention by haveing some lawyer claim terrorists are not realy "legal" combatents. News flash America tortures and kills civilains all because Bush lied.

point!

I need not to provide links. Simply rewind the CNN coverage of the gulf area during the first 'build' up to 'protect' all them contries from Saddam.

CNN was actually making fun of Iraq because they 'fled' before US warplanes could engage. 41 aircraft or more 'fled' to Iran in a mass flight moments before US warplans engaged in Iraqi airspace for their first sorties.

Look it up... There were some actual fighters in that group but most were large transport planes.

And Iran seized them as soon as they landed. It is HISTORY and there for he can look it up for himself.

This makes zero sense as Kuwait, the reason for the war, was an area of interest during the Iraq/Iran war. It was formed from an area that was fought hard over during that war.
Both countries wanted it for the same reasons as the US.
OIL!

Britain gave them their independence in 1961. Before that and still today, Iraq claims it.They acquired it in a peace settlement from the Ottoman Empire.

Why upon invading Kuwait would Iraq and Saddam have tried to hide weapons in IRAN?
Especially since Iran wanted nothing more than Saddam to die.

I would also like to see the source of your information.

I think the misinformed opinion you have is based on the fact that yes the Iraqi air force did fly to Iran. When the US began busting the bunkers the planes were hideing in the iraqis had achoice of do nothing and watch the planes be destroyed in their hardned silos or send them away. Iran has not returned the planes. The facts are no one has ever said they fled with WMDS and its a total fabrication.

Yes because we all know North Korea wasn't trying to build nukes before Bush was president. But I guess he was alive so maybe it was his fault... right?

The entire point of this thread showes how Bush neglected the real threat and chose to chase his make believe threat in Iraq. noway

Not realy and happy new year to you thanks for your opinion.

My feelings are that there were zero credability to an Iraqi WMD program, even the CIA said so.

On Sept. 18, 2002, CIA director George Tenet briefed President Bush in the Oval Office on top-secret intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, according to two former senior IA officers. Bush dismissed as worthless this information from the Iraqi foreign minister, a member of Saddam’s inner circle, although it turned out to be accurate in every detail. Tenet never brought it up again. Nor was the intelligence included in the National Intelligence Estimate of October 2002, which stated categorically that Iraq possessed WMD.

No one in Congress was aware of the secret intelligence that Saddam had no WMD as the House of Representatives and the Senate voted, a week after the submission of the NIE, on the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq. The information, moreover, was not circulated within the CIA among those agents involved in operations to prove whether Saddam had WMD.

On April 23, 2006, CBS’s “60 Minutes” interviewed Tyler Drumheller, the former CIA chief of clandestine operations for Europe, who disclosed that the agency had received documentary intelligence from Naji Sabri, Saddam’s foreign minister, that Saddam did not have WMD. “We continued to validate him the whole way through,” said Drumheller. “The policy was set. The war in Iraq was coming, and they were looking for intelligence to fit into the policy, to justify the policy.”
